Kim Kardashian has responded to rumors that she had gotten a nose job, saying that she often looks different in pictures thanks to clever makeup tricks. The reality star says she’s never had rhinoplasty and that contouring as well as lighting can make her nose look different.

The 38-year-old discussed the rumors while getting her makeup done by Mario Dedivanovic, her long time artist, at The Master Class in Los Angeles. She said that her children would provide proof that she hadn’t had surgery. "Everyone thought I did, and I said, 'Wait until I have kids because your real features come out,'" she said.

Dedivanovic explained that he uses contouring to hide the bump on her nose, which according to the Kardashian, "looks so much bigger in some pictures than in others".

The reality star's physical appearance has been scrutinized for years and she has always denied having a nose job. In 2010, during an appearance on Nightline, she said, "I've never had my nose done. But what's funny is about my nose, it's my biggest insecurity. I always want to get my nose done. I had them take the pictures, he showed me what it would look like, and it just didn't... I wouldn't look the same."

Then, in a 2016 interview with Wonderland magazine, Kardashian once again said that contouring made her nose look smaller. "I used to hate this bump on my nose. Hated it. Now I love that it makes me look more ethnic," she said, referring to her Armenian background.

There has been endless speculation over how much surgery Kardashian has had. On an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she had an x-ray done to prove she hadn’t had butt implants. She has also been accused of having breast augmentation, which she denies. Her sister Kourtney Kardashian, however, admitted to having her breasts done when she was 21, and has revealed that she thinks about getting a nose job “every day” but will stick to contouring since she hates the idea of going under the knife.

Kardashian, who is expecting her fourth child via surrogate, says she’s not against surgery and may consider it in the future. "Trust me, honey, if I take this bra off you will tell me I need to get them done," she said on Nightline. She has, however, documented her botox injections, vampire facials, and laser treatments on the reality show.

The celeb has also been very open about her struggles with psoriasis, a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by patches of abnormal skin, which usually red, dry, itchy, and scaly. She has even taken to social media to show fans the effects of the disease on her face and legs. As for treatment, Kardashian uses a topical cortisone ointment before bed. “I'm always hoping for a cure, of course, but in the meantime, I'm learning to just accept it as part of who I am," she says.

According to statistics from the National Psoriasis Foundation, approximately eight million people in the US have psoriasis, and it has a greater impact on the life of women, since covering it with makeup is complicated and treating it is expensive.
