Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have announced the birth of their new baby girl.
According to TMZ, the couple's surrogate gave birth on Monday. Kardashian posted an announcement to her personal website, stating, "January 15, 2018 12:47am 7Ibs 6oz. Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl. We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister. Love, Kim Kardashian West."

Media outlets speculated over the past few days that the birth was imminent, with some reporting that the surrogate would be brought to Cedars-Sinai—the same hospital where both Kim and Kourtney gave birth to all of their children. The power couple already have two children together, four-year-old daughter North, and two-year-old Saint. Kardashian has been open about her fertility issues on her reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. After the birth of her second child, doctors advised her that it wouldn't be safe for her to carry another baby, so they opted for surrogacy.
Kim began dating long-time friend Kanye West in 2012, while still legally married to NBA player Kris Humphries. Her divorce from the former New Jersey Nets player was finalized on June 3, 2013, and two days later she gave birth to her first child with West. They were married on May 24 2014, this being Kim's third marriage and Kanye's first. The latest birth in the Kardashian clan marks the arrival of Kris Jenner's seventh grandchild. Khloe Kardashian has recently announced her pregnancy with beau Tristan Thompson, while it's heavily rumored that Kylie Jenner is expecting with her rapper boyfriend, Travis Scott. Kylie has neither confirmed nor denied the pregnancy and has remained out of the spotlight for several months. It's believed that Jenner is around six months pregnant.
