Kim Kardashian West recently shared a sweet memory of one of the first times she was hanging out with Kanye West and also got to meet his late mother, Donda. One of Kim's fans tweeted a vintage Kim K photo showing the reality star wearing a hot pink Juicy Couture tracksuit, flipflops, and a white multicolour Louis Vuitton bag, saying how she would love to see Kim bring the style back. The reality star responded saying that the paparazzi shot was actually showing her on her way to meet with Kanye for his Good Life performance at the 2007 MTV Awards.

Now, back in 2007 Kim and Kanye did not know each other very well, but as Kim said; Kanye's people called her people and asked her to be in the audience near the stage at his MTV performance. Kim did get to meet Kanye's late mother Donda on the same night, a memory she holds dear since Donda tragically passed away later that year the day after undergoing cosmetic surgery. Perhaps that is the reason Kim remembers the day of the paparazzi shot of her, given that there are a lot of nearly identical snaps of her in Juicy Couture from the late 2000s.

As reported by Cosmopolitan, Kim and Kanye were friends for a long time before they ever started dating, and perhaps it was around the time of this photo their friendship started. The two met and hung out on several occasions before becoming the power couple they are today, and maybe it is their long history and background as friends that make them such a strong couple now.

Those who have been keeping up with Keeping Up With The Kardashian's might also recall Kanye appearing on an episode of the spinoff series Kourtney and Kim Take New York in 2010, where he stops by the sister's New York store Dash. Although there is definitely chemistry between Kim and Kanye in the short clip, Kim ended up marrying Kris Humphreys (for 72 days) the following year, but Kanye was already sure about his love for Kim.

In 2012, Kim and Kanye officially became a couple and later that year also announced that they were pregnant with their first baby. The famous couple seems to be deeply in love, and they are allegedly expecting their fourth child via surrogate.
