In a clip from Sunday's new Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian calls her sister Kim to tell her that Kris Jenner, 63, has been tackled by Kim’s security team. Although the exact details of what transpired aren’t clear, we can hear Khloe nervously telling Kim, "Your security just f--king tackled mom."
Khloe, 35, also tells Kim, 38, that she has called the police, while Kris screams in the background in agony, "my neck!" Kim, who is in a car with her friend Jonathan Cheban, seems to alternate between nervous laughter and serious concern. "What happened?" she asks, while simultaneously trying to fill Cheban in on the details.
According to Khloe, Kim’s new security team was guarding Kim and Kanye Hidden Hills’ backyard when Kris unexpectedly popped in. "I told her to go around [to the front entrance]," Khloe says. "And they just tackled her." The scene ends with Kim assuring Khloe that she’s on her way.
Although some have suspected that this might be another Kardashian joke, much like the October 2017 prank when Kourtney and Khloe tried to put chocolate in Kendall’s backside while she was sleeping after they went wine tasting, or the September 2018 prank when Kourtney humiliated Kim with a flash mob dance at a local mall, the truth is this might have actually been a serious misunderstanding.
Kim has taken her personal security very seriously ever since she was allegedly held up at gunpoint in a Paris hotel and robbed in October of 2016. Still, it’s unclear what type of threat Kris posed to the West residence. What we do know from other clips is that Kris ends up being rushed to the hospital on a stretcher and is later seen in a neck brace.
This season has been complicated health-wise for the Kardashians. Kim recently tested positive for lupus antibodies. However, the doctor confirmed it was actually psoriatic arthritis, a type of arthritis caused by psoriasis, which she has struggled with for some time now. Her symptoms include swollen, stiff and painful joints.

As fans know, there is probably no reason to worry since the Kardashians tend to be rather resilient. If it’s any consolation, a little physical discomfort will certainly be alleviated by the reported $900,000 each member of the family takes home per episode of the reality series.
