Katy Perry has been hitting headlines for her out-there behaviour since she burst onto the music since in the 00's, but lately she seems to be ramping it up. We're reporting on her negative comments about the Duchess of Sussex's wedding dress and now, we're here to tell you that she's admitted live on air that she's "not single" - but in quite a bizarre way.

In the two-hour finale of American Idol, which saw the top three sing out their hearts for the coveted first place, there were a few breaks - i.e. ample opportunity for some celebs and singers to plug their latest works. Becca Kufrin, the new star of ABC's The Bachelorette and the finalist of last season's The Bachelor, showed up to speak about her new role as the leading lady on the female version of the show. Although the filming has already concluded and Becca is reportedly engaged, it has yet to air, hence Becca's publicity tour. While she was talking about the show, Perry interjected, asking if she could be in the running to win Becca's heart.
If that weren't enough, Katy professed her adoration for the reality star by sinking to her knees and kissing her on the hand, for a really awkwardly long period of time - around 10 seconds in total. "I'm not single, but I still like you," the singer confessed. Although the Roar hitmaker hasn't confirmed it, it's widely reported that she is back together with her old flame, British actor Orlando Bloom. The couple dated for a while before calling it quits in February of 2017, but seem to have reconciled in the last few months, having been spotted out on numerous occasions.
It isn't the first time that Perry has eluded to her relationship status. Last month she spoke to ET alongside her fellow Idol judges. When the subject turned to romance Katy said she was spoken for and "very happy". As she and Bloom traveled to Rome together a few weeks ago to meet the Pope, it's a sure bet that they've reconciled. We're just waiting on the official word.
