Over the years, Hank Baskett and Kendra Wilkinson's relationship has played out over the media and a variety of TV shows for the world to see. And what was seen... wasn't always pretty. People was informed by a source close to the couple that Baskett has now moved out of the family home and the couple is preparing to file for a separation.
This may not shock anyone. After all, this couple has had more ups and downs than the latest thrill ride at Universal Studios. In fact, some people reading this may be confused about this status update and might have thought that the couple had already broken up years ago.
Baskett and Wilkinson joined the cast of WEtv's Marriage Bootcamp in 2015, where the couple attempted to work out their issues in order to save their family. Their biggest issue was comprised of a scandal involving a transgender model who goes by the name "Ava Sabrina London" and Baskett. Details of the issue seemed murky when the situation came to light in the summer of 2014. Under the microscope of the reality show (aimed at saving celebrities' failing marriages), the team of therapists uncovered that Baskett felt he was taken advantage of by the transgender model. The model allegedly put him in a compromising situation where he froze due to the overwhelming nature of the circumstances. Baskett then said that London blackmailed him to keep quiet, causing stress that showed up in his relationship.
At the end of the show, it seemed that Baskett and Wilkinson were in a better place. The couple has been seen with their children out and about since, posting evidence of a happy family on social media. But on Monday, Wilkinson posted an emotional video on Instagram. “Ten years,” the former "Playboy" model stated continuing on with, “I did everything I could. It wasn’t good enough. I will always love him and my heart will always remain open for him. I believed in forever, I really did. Guess it’s just not meant to be. I’m so scared, but I have to get strong for my kids — I will.”
She continued to share her relationship woes on social media, this time on Twitter. “Today will be the saddest, scariest day of my life,” Wilkinson wrote. “Today I will have to be the strongest I’ve ever been. Today, my rebirth begins.”
