Justin Bieber and his fiancé Hailey Baldwin have indeed tied the knot according to a recent visit to the courthouse and Uncle Alec Baldwin himself.
According to E! Online, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin took part in a wedding ceremony at a New York City courthouse this week. The couple, who have been engaged for nearly 2 months now, were spotted at the marriage bureau offices and speculation immediately began regarding the two possibly having been married.
The couple went to the courthouse around 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 13th, 2018, and allegedly got married in a back room, a source told E! News on Friday. The source mentioned how “...they didn’t tell anyone they were doing it. They are going a separate ceremony out of the country with a few family members soon as well”. Various outlets attempted to reach out to the couple and their reps; however, no comment has been made yet.
As it turns out the couple did, in fact, tie the knot! There has been no mention of the nuptials from Bieber or Hailey herself just yet, however, things were made pretty clear by Hailey's uncle, Alec Baldwin. The actor and his wife attended last nights 2018 Emmy Awards and let the cat out of the bag during a red carpet interview. The two were asked what a “Baldwin” wedding would be like, and Alec let it slip that the two had “...gone off and got married”.
In addition, TMZ reported that a crying Justin was heard telling fiancé Baldwin, how “I can’t wait to marry you, baby”, just as they entered the marriage bureau. Now, with these reports and Alec Baldwin’s confession, we think it is safe to say the two have officially said their “I do’s”.
No word has been said on whether the couple will have a separate ceremony with friends and family, however, Hailey has mentioned her ideal location and has even said she was scouting some beautiful spots for the wedding to take place. “I think having it the woods would be so beautiful”, Baldwin said. “I just picture lights strung everywhere”, she continued.
Alec Baldwin continued to mention during his interview that he didn’t know “what the deal is”, having us think he nor any other family members were present during the ceremony. Baldwin gave the couple some advice on how to attain a happy marriage, all while wishing his niece and new nephew, Bieber, the best.
We’re waiting to hear from the newlyweds themselves, but until then, we can only send our best to the happy couple!
