Julia Louis-Dreyfus looks fabulous while she is kicking cancer’s butt, which is giving fans hope she is well on her way to recovery.
The Veep star was spotted out and about the other day doing a little shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills. According to Page Six, the actress appeared to be looking healthy and relaxed as she walked back to her car from her outing.
Julia revealed back in September, shortly after she won Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series for the 6th time in row, that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. In a social media post she also praised her family, her friends, and her fantastic insurance. She was upbeat and positive in her message. Soon after, the actress began chemotherapy.
In February the Seinfeld star underwent surgery, all while keeping her positive 'I am going to kick cancer's butt' attitude. On Instagram, she gave a shout out to her amazing team of doctors and had some choice words for cancer before she went into surgery.
Since her surgery, she has been keeping a very low profile in the real world, but has been active on social media promoting causes close to her heart like the Women's March and gun control. However, the 57-year-old did post on Instagram earlier this week, as she shared a picture of a snake she ran into while on a hike. It would appear the funny woman is keeping up with her exercise while she finishes her treatment.
“Snake on a hike. That’s one way to get your heart rate up. #cardio,” she wrote on the social media site.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus is thankfully looking happy and healthy as she made a rare public appearance as she battles breast cancer. It has been a couple of months since she updated fans on her condition, but hopefully all is going well.
Production for the seventh season of her hit HBO show VEEP has been delayed while Louis-Dreyfus seeks treatment. The network shared the show is expected to begin filming in August for a potential August 2019 airdate.
A rep for the actress has yet to comment on the new production schedule or shared an official update on her cancer status.
