Joe Jonas decided to channel his fiancée Sophie Turner’s Game of Thrones energy for Kate Hudson’s Halloween party in Hollywood on Saturday, and the results were absolutely hilarious. While Turner dressed as a big, adorable, gray elephant, Jonas dressed as Turner’s GoT character, Sansa Stark. The look was documented on Jonas’s Instagram story, where he posed in costume surrounded by stickers from the show while the Game of Thrones theme song played in the background.
Jonas nailed the elder Stark sister’s look from head to toe. He wore an embroidered blue velour full-length gown with bell sleeves that totally looked like something right out of a Game of Thrones dressing room. To complete the look, Jonas even wore a long, fiery red wig styled in curls and a crown of two braids around his head. His black facial hair threw the look’s accuracy off just a bit, but Jonas could win a costume contest for sure.
The look itself was enough to make fans smile, but then Jonas took the costume to the next level by breaking out Stark’s signature pose—clasped hands. He stared solemnly into the camera as the Game of Thrones main title theme, written by Ramin Djawadi, accompanied the video for dramatic effect. Jonas also added GIF stickers of Tyrion Lannister (played by Peter Dinklage), Joffrey Baratheon (played by Jack Gleeson), and Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington).
Jonas also posted some group photos with friends on his Instagram feed—some other costumes spotted in the photos were Harry Potter and Cat Woman. Later in the night, over on Turner’s Instagram story, she posted a video of herself snuggling with Jonas, both still in costume. They’re still the cutest couple ever, even as Sansa Stark and an elephant.
Other celebrities brought their A-game to Hudson’s annual Halloween party, presented by Amazon, as well. Kelly Sawyer and Jessica Alba were seen dressed as Wilma Flinstone and Betty Rubble; Nina Dobrev showed up as a unicorn; Olivia Munn came in an outfit straight from the 80’s; and Ashley Greene transformed into the cartoon version of Robin Hood.
