Jennifer Lopez is bringing back some pretty epic fashion looks from the early '00s as she shoots for her upcoming movie Hustlers. The Jenny From The Block singer has been spotted in New York City where Hustlers is being filmed, and fans are loving the sense of throwback of seeing Jlo in big, highlighted hair and oversized sunglasses. The newly engaged diva also uploaded a photo on her Instagram that shows her in character as 'Ramona' wearing a hot pink bikini, fur coat, and big hoop earrings, captioning it "on set and in character". Some followers are however distracted by the forty-nine-year-olds banging body and impressive abs, but Jennifer is open with the amount of time she spends working out and staying fit.
Hustlers is a movie based on a magazine article published in New York Magazine, which tells the story about a group of former strip club employees who join forces to get back at their wealthy Wall Street clients. It has been compared to a Robin Hood story, and basically, the band of savvy women steals from these men to give themselves a fair cut. Jennifer is playing the leader of this group, and according to Hustlers' director Lorene Scafaria, there was never any other actress on the table for the role. Hustlers explore gender roles and explain how the financial crisis affected these dancers who had come to rely on clients from Wall Street.
As reported by ET Online, Jennifer Lopez is not the only big name recruited to the cast of Hustlers. The Aint It Funny singer will be in the good company of actresses Julia Stiles from 10 Things I Hate About You, Riverdale's Lili Reinhart, Keke Palmer known from Scream Queens, and Constance Wu who is best known from Crazy Rich Asians.
Cardi B will be making her on-screen debut in Hustlers, but since the Bodak Yellow rapper has first-hand experience from working in a strip club, it is safe to assume she will nail the role.
Hustlers is scheduled to be released in 2020, so as exciting as the news of this highly anticipated movie is, there is a bit of a wait until it hits the theaters.
