Jennifer Lawrence's wedding weekend kicked off yesterday with an elegant rehearsal dinner, and the event was full of familiar faces. The first event of the wedding celebration took place on Rose Island, just off the coast of Newport, Rhode Island. The couple hosted their luxurious rehearsal dinner for 140 guests under a white tent, and on the menu was a traditional New England clambake. JLaw was seen arriving in Newport by private jet alongside her fiancé Cooke Maroney earlier in the day. Cooke Maroney is a New York City art gallery director, and he and the Hunger Games star have been dating since May last year.

Celebrities like Cameron Diaz, Nicole Richie, and Joel Madden were reportedly spotted arriving at Rose Island, and so was, of course, Jennifer's best friend, Adele. Another Hollywood star who is rumored to be on the guest list of the wedding is Bradley Cooper, whom Jennifer played against in Silver Linings Playbook. Momager and queen of reality TV, Kris Jenner was another famous face at the rehearsal dinner last night. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star arrived at Rose Island by boat, and made quite the entrance in a black fur coat, looking elegant as ever. Jennifer has made no secret of her obsession with KUWTK and has even appeared on the show on one occasion.

As reported by Hollywood Life, the Red Sparrow actress and her beau were spotted leaving New York City’s marriage bureau a month ago, which naturally ignited rumors of them having gotten married already. However, they could have just been filing for a marriage license, and either way, their wedding will be celebrated today, Saturday.

The actual wedding reception will take place in Belcourt of Newport, a Gilded Age mansion, which design was inspired by Louis XIII’s hunting lodge at Versailles outside of Paris, France. The Belcourt of Newport is owned by Caroline Rafaelian, and other than being the perfect spot for elegant events, it also offers restoration tours.

While Jennifer has kept her relationship to Cooke private, she has said that she knew instantly that she wanted to marry him, calling him her best friend. Now the day has finally come, and fans of the American Hustle actress will be keeping a close look on Instagram for any photos of the joyous day.
