Irina Shayk — Bradley Cooper's Better Half — Reveals Her Beauty Secrets

Though Irina Shayk, 33, is often recognized as actor Bradley Cooper’s current girlfriend or footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s ex, she had established a successful modeling career long before meeting either man.

Born in Yemanzhelinsk, Soviet Union, Shayk began playing the piano at six and studied at a music school until she was 17. In 2004, she won the Miss Chelyabinsk beauty pageant. In 2007, she became the face of Intimissimi and debuted in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Now, Shayk is the new face of Scandal by Jean Paul Gaultier, a perfume that she says reminds her of her garden when she was a child. According to the model, Scandal smells of "honey for sexiness, jasmine for romanticism, and pear for sweetness."

As for her own personal beauty routine, Shayk says she washes her face twice a day, with water in the morning and face wash at night. She also likes to change products frequently since she believes that always using the same moisturizer or face wash can make your skin dry or oily. Though she always uses moisturizer, in summer, she may opt for a light serum, like Mimi Luzon and Barbara Sturm. She also uses a powder sunscreen all-year-round.

As for daytime makeup, she believes less is more. She wears a little concealer, but no foundation. She swears by Marc Jacobs’ concealer, which she uses under her eyes and on spots, as well as a Marc Jacobs’ coconut highlighter. She doesn’t believe that you need to wear a lot of makeup to create a look.

One beauty secret she has learned is to apply an ice cube with cucumber or chamomile around your eyes, forehead, and neck if you haven’t had enough sleep or if your face is swollen. As for exercise, she stretches while traveling or practices Pilates when in New York. She also swears by FaceGym in London, which also has locations around Europe and in LA. The wellness center offers a facial massage that is easy to get on the go.
