Huda Beauty Understands That 'Translucent' Powder Doesn't Work For Everyone

Any beauty junkie out there knows the value of a good powder that works for setting as well as baking face makeup. These powders are typically "translucent", but let's be real - that hardly works on all skin tones. Lucky for us, Dubai-based, celebrity favorite makeup brand Huda Beauty is here to make our dreams come true with their "Easy Bake" loose setting powder.

Successfully launching a great beauty product takes time, and Huda Beauty's baking powders have been in the making for two years. With one year solely focusing on getting the colors of the powders just right, we are dying with anticipation to check out the eight shades of their Easy Bake powder. The powder is said to have a smooth, easy-to-blend texture, and will keep the skin mattified and flawless all day.

The founder of Huda Beauty, Huda Kattan, told Elle that she gets her inspiration from various people and makeup artists. The idea to make their baking powder in an array of colors came from watching an episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, where one of the housewives, Kenya Moore, was spotted in a beautifully yellowish concealer.

The most yellow shade of Huda Beauty's Easy Bake powder was actually so inspired from Kenya's look, it was is named Kunafa. Now that's "gone with the wind fabulous", as Kenya herself would say! Our skin tones are made up of many different colors, such as reds, blues, and yellows, and through research, Huda Beauty has come pretty close to perfecting their shades. The right color makeup, be it a foundation or as in this case a powder, will match the undertones of the skin and bring out beauty in the best way.

When it comes to makeup it should be fun and exciting, and something you use to highlight (ha!) your natural beauty and skin tone. Huda Beauty is giving everyone, no matter the color of their skin, the option to do so with their new Easy Bake loose setting powder. If it's anywhere near as good as their stunning eyeshadow palettes, we are so here for it, and so ready to bake our way to the perfect makeup look.
