Huda Beauty is set to change the makeup game with their upcoming line of setting powders.
Those who haven’t heard of Huda Kattan have obviously been living on the unexplored side of Mars since before the turn of the decade. The former beauty vlogger has blossomed into a full-fledged beauty entrepreneur since the launch of her first line of false eyelashes way back in 2013--a line so good that even Kim Kardashian sang praises.
Since then she’s gone on to be named one of Forbe’s top 10 beauty influencers with over 25 million followers on Instagram.
Last year she launched an incredible 30-shade foundation range that has been getting rave reviews, and now she’s upping the foundation ante with a new range of baking powders.
The new line is called Easy Bake Setting Powders, so named since the “super luxurious” and extremely fine setting powder can be used by even a baking novice.
"We’ve always felt baking is one of the BIGGEST game changers for anyone’s makeup routine (even if you're not a cake face like me),” the beauty mogul wrote on Instagram. “But so many people are scared to try, which is why we wanted to make baking foolproof!"
Ok guys! Here it is! Our new Easy Bake Setting Powder! We’ve always felt baking is one of the BIGGEST game changers for anyone’s makeup routine (even if you‘re not a cake face like me 🎂🙋🏽♀️), but so many people are scared to try, which is why we wanted to make baking foolproof! Our new Easy Bake loose powder is super luxurious, extremely fine, and comes in 8 beautiful shades! We can’t wait for you guys to try this! Launching July 2nd online! #HudaBeautyEasyBake
Baking isn’t for everyone, and neither is it for most everyday makeup routines. After foundation and concealer are applied, baking powder is gently patted on to fill in lines and pores and is then left to “bake” for 10 minutes or so. The excess is then removed with a brush and you’re left with the perfect skin that resembles a Snapchat filter.
The Easy Bake line is starting small for Huda with only eight shades: one pure white (which is almost certain to go on translucent), 3 lighter shades, 2 middle shades, and 2 darker shades. That’s not a huge range, but the translucent powder is most likely to get the most use anyway.
Easy Bake Setting Powders launch online on July 2nd, so mark your calendars and get ready to bake!
