Gwyneth Paltrow showed off a new engagement ring at a red carpet event yesterday.

Paltrow was at a pre-Broadway opening engagement of Head Over Heels in San Francisco last night, the latest theater production being put on by her hubby-to-be, Brad Falchuk. It’s there she was spotted with a new addition to her wardrobe: a gold engagement ring on her left finger with the letters “BF” inscribed on it.

It’s obvious who gave her the ring, as well as what the letters stand for, but what is not obvious is how much longer the Goop head will be wearing it. She and Falchuk have been awfully secretive of their wedding plans, with rumors circulating that the two got hitched in secret at a big party last Saturday.

The rumors turned out to be false, but Paltrow and Falchuk did have a big engagement party with about 400 star-studded guests, including Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, Reese Witherspoon, and Steven Spielberg (according to Pagesix). But news of a secret wedding was proven false when Paltrow spilled the beans on her Instagram account.

On Monday, Paltrow took to social media to thank all her Hollywood friends for attending her engagement bash, with a special thanks to Ryan Murphy for apparently officiating the proceedings.

"Thank you @mrrpmurphy for the most incredible evening to celebrate our ❤️,” wrote the lifestyle guru, using the universal language of emojis instead of words. “There will never be adequate words to express our gratitude. @giambattistavalliparis I will never get over my gorgeous dress. @georgieeisdell thank you. @hairbylorenzomartin thank you. @teamsaltzman thank you. Thank you to all of our amazing true and dear friends who came to support us.”

Paltrow went on to say, “We feel like the luckiest people on the planet because we have all of you in our lives. And most of all thank you @bradfalchuk for the true happiness."

According to insiders speaking with Pagesix, the real wedding is planned for sometime later this year with several smaller family events to get through first. But if Paltrow takes off to the Bahamas to get eloped, we’ll be sure to let you all know.
