Gigi Hadid Goes Off On Fans Who Criticized Her Street Style As “Not Being Sexy Enough”

Do you like the looks of American supermodel Gigi Hadid? It's hard not to- she looks amazing whenever she's modeling, and she knows how to dress for any occasion. This includes her streetwear when she's far away from the glitz and glam of the modeling industry. But if you think her streetwear isn't sexy, here's something you should know- Hadid doesn't care what you think.

Recently, Hadid, 24, went off on a fan on Twitter after they criticized her street style as "not being sexy enough". It all started with a photo of Hadid wearing a puffer coat, black leggings and a pair of white sneakers. In now-deleted Tweets, one user posted this very photo with the caption, "she's such a natural beauty... idk what happened to her iconic street style tho."

A fan account for the model known as @doublegiforce retweeted the photo while adding, "What happened is called Mimi." The woman being referred to here is Mimi Cuttrell, and she's Hadid's current stylist. The two have been working together since 2016.

Hadid- who follows the aforementioned fan account on Twitter- took great offense to all of these remarks. She didn't hesitate to respond to all the unwanted criticism shortly after it came out.

"U guys need to calm tf down sometimes," she began. "It’s called stepping out to do one errand- not dressing for your approval. Your unrealistic expectations & petty complaining all the time about my style or not being sexy enough isn’t going to make me dress differently.

"Not just talking about this specific comment. U all talk about empowering women. I support and empower women that show skin and that don’t," she wrote in a second Tweet. "It’s about choice. I show skin when I want to and still feel sexy covered head to toe & will continue to do so. Over the snarky comments."

Whether you love her or hate her, it's hard to argue with Hadid's argument. For someone who has to constantly dress up for work, wearing whatever she wants must be a real treat. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Hadid's street style- in fact, we love it! Keep doing you, Hadid!
