10 Get Creative With Small Braids
Front braids are all the rage right now, plus they are a solution for greasy scalps in between wash days.
Part your hair in the middle, then separate two small stands from the front of your hair and make front braids and tie them with small rubber bands. Pull them back along with the top layer of your hair for a half-up look.
9 Pull Through Braid
Get this different braid look by pulling your hair through plastic rubber bands, think of it as a french braid but with more rubber hands and wrapping the hair instead of braiding it.
Start by evenly tying up the top of your hair with a plastic rubber band, and pull the hair around it so it is sitting loosely on the top of your heard. Flip the pony so it sits on the top of your head, you can even secure it with a clip. Tie up the second layer, tie it with a band, then separate it into two, and pull the first ponytail through it. Then with the two separated strands, make a new layer, tie it, and repeat the process.
It might sound confusing, but once you get it down just keep repeating till the end of your hair.
8 Get A Crimped Look
No crimper? No problem.
Get a crimped hair look without buying a new crimped iron. Braid your hair, and simply squeeze the braid with your straightener. You can make more braids to have smaller waves, but keep in mind they might vary in size compared to one big braid. Use this method to create waves any day, in no time.
7 A Braided Bun
Make a fun, cute and secure bun out of braids. First, make two even pigtails, and braid them, secured with a clear rubber band. Then fold the braids into loops, and secure them with the original rubber band. Take each loop, and pull them through each other and secure with bobby pins and hair spray for an elegant, yet casual bun.
6 A Loose Braid
This braid is a go-to for everyday wear when you only have a few spare minutes to do your hair. Simply braid the hair normally, then after securing with a rubber band, pull on each part of the braid so that it hands loosely.
This is a great trick for any braided look that you want to look more whimsical.
5 A Braided Pony Tail
Get a beautiful braided ponytail look with these easy steps.
Separate your hair into three sections, two in the front and the back section. Tie the back section into a loose ponytail, and simply braid the two front sections, in the direction of the back. Cross the two small braids in the back then tie the two braided sections together, you should have a loop that acts as a braided band for your ponytail. Pull it tight as an adjusted touch.
4 A Half Up Braided Ponytail Band
This look is essentially the same as the previous one, except with the hair half up.
With only the top section of your hair, separate it into three sections. The back section will be secured in a ponytail, while the other two will be braided back, then crossed before banded to make a loop. Loop through your ponytail, and secure for adjustment as necessary.
3 Whimsical Waterfall Front Braids
For anyone who has tried, it can be challenging to make those perfect front braids for a half-up look. Start by making two front braids with the smallest front section of your hair, and secure them with rubber bands.
Then pull small sections of your hair through the braid to create a waterfall look, and secure back with a bobby pin, repeat on both sides.
2 A Water Fall Braid
A Waterfall braid became popular a few years ago and has hit the internet as a beautiful trend. From one side of your hair, start a braid, and let a piece go, always incorporating a new strand. Continue until the end of your hair and secure with a bobby pin.
1 Halo Braid
The halo braid is something everyone should try at least once. This one is mostly for long-haired individuals, but there are many short hair adaptations as well.
Part your hair in the middle, and dutch braid one half until you read the back, don't braid till the end simply tie it with a band. Next continue braiding the section you already tired off, upwards. This is tricky, if you are new to braiding you may need assistance. Continue braiding until you read the end of the hair and wrap it around your head. Secure with bobby pins.
