Gabrielle Union and her three-time NBA champion of a husband Dwyane Wade have become two of HGTV's newest stars, with the celebrity pair set to undertake the renovation of a Miami home in an upcoming special called All-Star Flip.

Wade and Union, who tied the knot in 2014 after kicking their relationship off five years prior, will be featured in a special airing on April 12. The cable channel announced that they will film the Miami Heat guard and his movie star wife as they take on the challenge of remodeling an outdated bit of property, per eonline.com.

The couple moved back to Miami when Wade rejoined the Miami Heat this year after spending a year-and-a-half out, having moved to the Chicago Bulls and then the Cleveland Cavaliers. The star veteran has returned just in time to help the Heat qualify for the NBA playoffs, but he will have some extra work on his hands given the magnitude of the upcoming project with his wife.

Ok ok. On April 12th we will see what we got! @gabunion @hgtv

They will team up with their construction team to work on an old ranch house and turn it into modern quarters, also adding a second story. The property will be sold upon completion and the proceeds will be handed to a charity of the couple's choice.

"Ever since we renovated our house a few years ago, I've been a little real-estate obsessed," Union explained. "It took a while, but I finally convinced Dwyane that we should try flipping a house."

"And we're doing it to raise money for charity," Wade chimed in. "So how could I say no?"

While Wade will be concentrating on the playoffs pretty soon, Gab is likely to be already working on something new for the big screen. The 45-year-old actress, who has played roles in countless hit movies, has one set for release next month.

She plays single and stricken mother Shaun Russell in the upcoming film Breaking In. The movie will hit cinemas on May 11. But until then, you can tune in to HGTV on April 12 to catch the alluring star and her husband take on their mammoth project.

It's always great to see our favorite personalities perform such tasks in the name of charity. And this time around it's doubly good, with prominent figures from both sport and film teaming up to help the less fortunate.
