Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced the fashion photographer who will be shooting the Royal Wedding.
The countdown to the Royal Wedding is on! It is only five weeks away. As Prince Harry and Markle’s big day approaches, more details are being shared with the public. The latest announcement is the couple has chosen Alexi Lubomirski to take their official wedding photographs.
It is not a huge surprise Lubomirski was chosen as the official fashion photographer. He was the one who took pictures of the couple just weeks after they got engaged.
"I could not be more thrilled or honored to photograph this historic occasion. Having taken Prince Harry and Ms. Markle's engagement photos, it brings me such joy to be able to witness again, the next chapter in this wonderful love story," said Lubomirski in a statement, soon after Kensington Palace made the announcement.
So who exactly is Alexi Lubomirski? According to his own personal website, his love for fashion photography began when he was in school. He studied under Mario Testino, a Peruvian photographer who just so happens to be the man who took Prince William and Kate Middleton’s engagement photos in 2010.
Lubomirski has published two different photography books. DECADE is a book with the best of his fashion photography from the first 10 years of his career. DIVERSE BEAUTY is a book aimed to highlight a broader range of beauty than that which is presented to us in fashion magazines and campaigns. Plus, he wrote the book PRINCELY ADVICE for a HAPPY LIFE for his two sons, as it talks about behaving in a manner befitting a prince.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski as the official Royal Wedding photographer. He will capture all of the special moments of their special day, especially those first shots as they become husband and wife. Based on the pictures he took of the happy couple for their engagement, he clearly knows how to capture their true happiness.
May 19th is about a month away and the Royal couple is busy finalizing their final wedding details. One item they can cross off the list is wedding photographer.
