Jay-Z and Beyoncé are at the top of the food chain when it comes to celebrity power. This union of powerhouses is a force to be reckoned with, even at the best of times. The sheer volume of their wealth is overwhelming, let alone the fact that they are incredibly influential and well-connected. This is definitely not your average marriage. Each of them is talented, famous, wealthy, and powerful in their own right.

The added component of their combined forces can be easily intimidating for anyone that crosses their path, yet that seems to happen often. They each have their fair share of haters, and many have posed problems for them individually, as well as caused conflicts within their marriage. Let’s explore the stories behind the 20 Celebrities That Hate Beyoncé & Jay-Z…

20 Nas

Nas and Jay-Z have had their ups and downs – but mostly downs. These two had album-wars for years, in which they went back and forth dissing one another on their tracks. At one point, Nas accused Jay-Z of ripping lyrics from Notorious B.I.G, and followed up with some colorful name-calling. Jay-Z taunted him with the news that he had an affair with Carmen Bryan, the mother of Nas’ child. This feud got so ugly that Jay-Z’s own mother made him apologize for his lewd comments.

19 Robert De Niro

While we may not really imagine Robert De Niro and Jay-Z to be friends, it similarly didn’t cross our minds that they’d be enemies, either. According to Nicki Swift, when they both attended Leonardo DiCaprio’s birthday party in 2012, De Niro lashed out at Jay-Z for not returning his calls. Apparently he wanted to collaborate on a song for this Tribeca Film Festival, but Jay – Z had put him on “ignore.”

18 Solange Knowles

One of the biggest entertainment highlights of 2014 was that of Solange Knowles losing her temper on Jay-Z. TMZ’s coverage of this incident went viral, and it was clear to see that Solange physically and intentionally assaulted him. Solange claims she was defending her sister’s honor when she picked a fight with him. She claims to have not liked how he was treating her sister, and felt the need to jump in.

17 Drake

Drake is on again, off-again about Jay-Z. They’ve collaborated on music together, but then he’s gone on to diss him within the same album, a mere few tracks after their shared song. On “Thank You,” Drake threw shade at Jay-Z by saying "That's around the time that your idols become your rivals," making it clear that their relationship had shifted. There are no shortage of instances in which he has thrown sly remarks towards Jay-Z.

16 Rachel Roy

Rachel Roy really took a public stand toward her hatred of Beyoncé. When Beyoncé’s song “Lemonade” came out, everyone wanted to know the identity of “Becky with the good hair." Rachel Roy thought it would be wise to release an Instagram post that said “Good Hair, Don’t Care,” alluding to the fact that she had been intimate with Jay-Z.

15 Birdman

Birdman isn’t a fan of Jay-Z’s and he isn’t shy about making his feelings public. During an episode of Tropical TV in 1999, Birdman was asked for his views on Jay-Z being voted the #1 MC by MTV. While he easily could have sugar-coated his response, he opted not to, and he lashed out by saying that Lil’ Wayne deserved that title and spotlight, not Jay-Z.

14 Kid Rock

Kid Rock isn’t afraid to call it like he sees it, and from where he’s standing, Beyoncé really isn’t impressing him at all. According to a report by Nicki Swift, Kid Rock was being interviewed by Rolling Stone when he went off about his lack of love for Beyoncé. His Instagram feed was bogged down with Beyoncé’s fans posting bumble bee emoticons and speaking up to defend their favorite artist. Kid Rock wasn’t about to change his views though. He reiterated his dislike for Beyoncé by posting a picture of Raid insect killer…you know… to destroy the bees!

13 Wendy Williams

We’re not entirely sure why Wendy Williams doesn’t like Beyoncé, but we’re definitely sure that she doesn’t. Regardless of where the bad blood originated, it seems it will remain tainted after all the shade that Wendy has thrown at Queen B. During one of her episodes of Hot Topics, Williams was quoted as saying “You know Beyoncé can't talk," Williams said. "Beyoncé sounds like she has a fifth-grade education."

12 50 Cent

50 Cent is not a supporter when it comes to Beyoncé. In fact, in 2015, he backed the decision made by the Grammy producers to give Beck the award in the category Beyoncé was nominated for. He then went on to describe the talent that Beck poured into his album, as compared to Beyoncé who had a team of 11 production specialists working on her end product. He clearly doesn’t think much about Beyoncé’s musical capabilities.

11 Rudy Giuliani

Beyoncé’s performance at the 2016 NFL Halftime Show was a huge disappointment to former mayor Rudy Giuliani. He was quoted in an interview as saying, "This is football, not Hollywood” and then went on to say, "I thought it was really outrageous that she used it as a platform to attack police officers who are the people who protect her and protect us, and keep us alive."

10 Keyshia Cole

Queen Bee is not getting any royal treatment from Keyshia Cole anytime soon. Keyshia ranted on Twitter about lyrics from her “Flawless” song. She may have gone on too strong and too fierce with her explosive comments, insinuating that Beyoncé teeter-totters between sending the message that women must support one another, while at the same time expecting people to bow down to her.

9 Etta James

The late Etta James felt slighted when Beyoncé sang her song “At Last” at a very high profile event in 2009. She was incredibly upset about Beyoncé’s song choice and felt she was in essence being mimicked and replaced. It seems odd that Beyoncé wouldn’t have obtained clearance from Etta James before making the bold move of covering her song at such an important event.

8 Azealia Banks

Azealia seems to have a personal issue with Beyoncé and with how she conducts herself, in general. She personally attacked Queen Bee on Twitter quite regularly, but on one occasion she may have taken it too far by saying; “She's not an artist, she's a poacher.” Azealia goes on to rant about Beyoncé’s lifestyle and accuses her of capitalizing on her own representation of her culture.

7 Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan publicly slammed Beyoncé in 2016, saying he was deeply offended by the way she aligned herself with grieving victims as a way to launch her own compassion-campaign. She had appeared standing in unity with the mothers of victims of a serious crime in one of her productions, and Piers felt she was exploiting their pain for her own personal gain.

6 LIV

Hip Hop DX captured the moment that LIV took to her forum and lashed out at Beyoncé, claiming to have “been with” Jay-Z in an intimate way. She put her message on blast at a time that Jay-Z’s fidelity was already in question, causing undeniable stress in their already-affected marriage.

5 Sanaa Lathan

Actress Sanaa Lathan already has her own fan base, but she sure did monopolize on an added few moments in the spotlight at a party in December of 2017. She was reportedly at a party rubbing elbows with other celebrities when she took things too far and became overly flirtatious with Jay-Z. According to Page Six, she went on to bite Beyoncé’s face during this wild encounter. It’s safe to say she won’t be invited to the Carter house for dinner anytime soon.

4 Khia

Despite never having any real defining moment that would cause Khia and Beyoncé to feud with one another, Khia definitely has a serious distaste for Queen Bee. She has used Twitter as a forum to slam Beyoncé for lack of originality in her music, and repeatedly accuses her of stealing and copying from other artists for her own benefit.

3 Blu Cantrell

It’s no secret that Jay-Z is a bit of a ladies’ man. He’s been in the spotlight, so his relationships have had some light shone on them as well. Blu Cantrell was one of his most widely talked about exes, and she definitely threw some shade when she made comments about the connection between her name and that of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy. Her sarcastic comment about how she “loved” their child’s name raised a few eyebrows and surely ruffled Beyoncé’s feathers.

2 ‘Lil Wayne

‘Lil Wayne has obvious distaste for Jay-Z and certainly seems indifferent to Beyoncé as well. He and Jay-Z have been slinging rotten lyrics at one another for years, and their diss-battle shows no signs of slowing down. At one point, he rapped about jeopardizing the safety of Beyoncé for financial gain from Jay-Z. The whole thing has gone too far to ever be reconciled between these two.

1 Keri Hilson

Keri Hilson isn’t a fan of Beyoncé’s in the least. She publicly messed with her lyrics in the remix to her single “Turning Me On,” which dates back to 2009. She used this as a forum to make a mockery of Beyoncé and though she denies it was a diss-track, it’s hard to describe it any other way. Entertainment reports show that she also made a huge stink over a magazine with Beyoncé’s face on it, refusing to touch or hold it at all.
