Popstar and actress Demi Lovato has made her first comeback to social media making a big statement with her first Instagram photo since being back from rehab. The 26-year-old shared a photo of herself in the voting booth expressing her gratitude for being home in time to vote and urging her followers to make sure they use their right to vote as well. Demi looks happy and healthy in the photo, casually dressed in a denim jacket and black jeans, so it seems as if she is doing much better now.

It was at the end of July this summer that Demi Lovato was rushed to the hospital after an opioid overdose, ironically almost exactly one month after releasing the single Sober, in which she admitted to having relapsed after being six years sober. Lovato spent nearly two weeks in the hospital with her family and close friends by her side, and even her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama visited her frequently. The Sorry Noy Sorry singer then checked herself into rehab for the second time in her life, with the first being in 2010 when she sought help for substance abuse, bulimia and self-harm. After now having completed 90 days sober, Demi Lovato seems to be back home, and what a relief it is to see her doing well.

As reported by Cosmopolitan, Demi has not been posting anything on her Instagram for the past couple of months with her last post being from when she had just checked into rehab where she thanked her family, friends and fans for their love and support. She has spent her time in rehab focusing on getting better and finding herself again, and her fans are obviously thrilled to have her back on social media.
