Working out can be a drag at the best of times, but now it's official. To celebrate Pride month expert fitness instructor and dancer Walter Kemp II took some time out to teach the uber glamorous drag queen Marti Gould Cummings some cardio exercises that combine frisky moves with high-powered cardio. It's so much fun, you'll forget you're working out.

If you're sick to death of spin classes and your morning run, then why not let your inner diva run free with this out of the box routine? Of course, you don't have to wear heels to do it - leave that to the experts. The combo includes pelvic thrusts, jumps, and squats, helping you work through a total-body workout without any of the grueling drabness of the gym. In the minute-long clip, Walter stands side by side dressed in gym attire while Marti gets his shake on with a red fringe 20's style dress that really shows what he's workin' with.
Studies have shown that cardio workouts are a great way to lose weight, as you're hitting the maximum fat-burning rate. As well as that, a good session can help with mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, thanks to the stress-relieving hormones that your body emits. Let's not forget the benefits for your heart and lungs too, as regular cardio can greatly reduce your risk of heart disease. Basically, it's a pretty boss way to exercise. Getting yourself in shape has never looked so good.
As for Marti, he's a busy bee at the best of times. When he's not performing as a drag artist, he's making audiences howl with laughter as a comedian and singer. Marti has made a name for himself by interviewing stars like Liza Minelli and Bette Midler, as well as appearing weekly on stage at New World Stages, the Ritz, Industry, and Barracuda. With a schedule so hectic, it's good to see that Marti can take a little bit of cardio in his stride too - even in high heels.
If you're going to attempt this, we recommend going for your trusty sneakers instead. You can watch the full clip here.
