One of the original supermodels, along with Naomi, Linda, Christy and Claudia, Cindy Crawford, who has graced the covers of Vogue, W, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Cosmopolitan, and Allure, has been in the game long enough to be able to publish several books on skincare. The 52-year-old, who got her start at 17 working for Elite Model Management in Chicago, recently posted a pic to Instagram, where she revealed not only that she still looks amazing, but that she needs no Photoshop to do so.

Crawford’s makeup-free gym selfie showed off the model and mom’s perfect skin and earned likes from celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Olivia Munn, and Lily Aldridge with actress Ellen Pompeo adding, "That skin," while fellow former MTV host Daisy Fuentes gushed, "So beautiful." Fellow supermodel Elle Macpherson, 54, compared Crawford to her 17-year-old daughter, also a model, writing, "Kaia face."

Crawford believes in not only aging beautifully but also gracefully. In a 2016 interview with Refinery 29, she said, "There is a lot of pressure on women to, well, not age. Being a model and having your whole career being based on how you look, I am probably even more sensitive to it — but you can’t keep chasing this impossible thing."

Adding, "It's not about looking 20, or looking 30, 40, or 50, it's about looking like you take care of yourself. Exercising, eating right, taking care of your skin — that is looking great at every age, and that's the message that I really believe in, partly because I'm getting older. As much as I try to take care of myself, I still don't look like my daughter when I wake up in the morning — and I don't want to feel bad about that."

Crawford, a former high school valedictorian who earned an academic scholarship to study chemical engineering at Northwestern University, decided instead to apply her intelligence to branding herself. A few years back, she started a skincare line called Meaningful Beauty, created by Cindy Crawford and Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh, a French skin rejuvenation expert. The products feature Superoxide Dismutase, a super antioxidant extracted from rare melons grown in the South of France, which Crawford says she has been using for decades.

To create new skincare products, Crawford uses her customers and herself as inspiration. "I notice what my skin needs are and what kind of feedback we're getting from our customers. As I get older my skin needs change. I need hydration. More, more, more hydration," she said.

According to the brand, more than 4 million women have tried their anti-aging system with 96% of women reporting their crow’s feet appeared visibly diminished, while 100% said their skin looked smoother and 92% said the skin around their jaw line looked firmer and tighter. The results were based on an eight-week user-perception study.

The supermodel has been open about receiving Botox, vitamin and collagen injections in the past, but has always stopped short of surgery. She also credits a good diet, exercise and drinking plenty of water for her glowing skin.
