You may have heard of Chrissy Teigen. She's a successful, beautiful model, mother of two kids, and wife of superstar John Legend. She also just may be one of the greatest personalities you'll find online!
Chrissy frequently uses Instagram to post photos of herself, her family, and her red carpet appearances, but sprinkled in between are numerous jokes and memes. Though she may be famous, her self-awareness and reactions to strange situations make her extremely relatable to the rest of us. Sometimes, she even gets her husband involved in the Instagram fun!
Keep reading for a countdown of 10 times that Chrissy Teigen was the realest person on Instagram!
Chrissy Teigen is undoubtedly the queen of cracking jokes, but she also loves to laugh at herself in the process!
When a fan shared a meme they made comparing Teigen's American Music Awards attire to a Family Guy sketch, it definitely tickled the model's funny bone enough for her to repost it to her personal account. Teigen knows how to wear both the black dress and the grace and charm when it comes to interacting with her followers!
Sometimes getting dressed up for a special event is fun, but other times...you just don't want to put in the effort.
Chrissy Teigen has a yearly history of trolling the Met Gala on Instagram, and this picture with husband John Legend taken in May 2017 perfectly captures her indifference towards the event. All the crazy costumes and fancy makeup? Yeah, Teigen isn't living for it. She'd much rather chill with her family at home in that cozy bed!

I used to assume people who got photographed in grocery stores weren’t really buying stuff they like and were getting paid for something but turns out the paps actually come inside the grocery store and capture your most intimate grocery cart items this is a travesty #TOOINTIMATE #KEEPCARTSPRIVATE #SACREDSPACE
Sometimes you're just not ready for the paps.
Teigen posted this photo of herself shopping with her young daughter Luna, annoyed by the unwanted photography op in the dairy aisle. Though Teigen is definitely not prepared for the shot, she takes it all in stride, sharing that while she used to think celebs who appeared in candid shots were paid for their time, she now knows that random photographers will show up and invade a person's "sacred space."
Maybe the Keep Carts Private movement will start catching on thanks to Chrissy!
Chrissy Teigen isn't just a comedienne on her own Instagram account. She stopped by Cardi B.'s page in 2018 to add a bit of perspective to a photo of Mott's apple juice and Pine-Sol that the rapper posted.
In the original post, Cardi B. wrote "Is not a threat is a warning" to describe the fear of accidentally consuming Pine-Sol instead of the apple juice, which are similar in color. Chrissy put a new spin on it when she replied, "I agree [and] I will f somebody up if they give me Mott's."
Guess she's not afraid of the power of Pine-Sol!
When Teigen posted this photo of herself, Andy Cohen, and Real Housewife Kelly Dodd on the set of Watch What Happens, she couldn't have imagined the comments she would receive from people criticizing her style and her post-baby body. However, one user decided to make it personal by insulting Teigen's short haircut.
“You look beautiful but you should grow your hair long again," the user commented.“Girls with round faces should not have short hair like that. It makes your face look huge. Been there….believe me….LONG HAIR.”
Teigen responded with true form, writing, "Honestly wow thank you because when I wake up each morning I wonder what [you] would do and then I try to make her happy so this was a huge mistake on my part." Teigen definitely got the last word on this one, wouldn't you agree?
Chrissy Teigen had some more sarcasm ready for Met Gala 2018!
She posted a hilarious photo of herself lounging in front of the television in sweatpants, showing off her baby bump, and honestly, who wouldn't blame her? Elastic waistbands are much more comfortable than crazy high heels and tight dresses!
While Teigen is actually enjoying an episode of Vanderpump Rules, she gushes in her caption that it is "always an honor" to attend the Met Gala. We don't deserve you, Chrissy. The honor is all ours!
Do you ever feel the need to let go? Well, it looks like Chrissy does!
Case in point? Teigen making salad in her kitchen without a shirt! Teigen lets her "natural" self shine as she makes a delicious leafy-green meal, complete with salad emojis to cover her chest. Though she may be taking her lunch au naturale, she is still made up to perfection in true Chrissy fashion, complete with a flawless complexion and gorgeous red lipstick.
Teigen asks her followers not to "shame" her, but we're pretty sure anybody who truly loves Chrissy will relate 100%!
Teigen loves to troll her husband John Legend with memes and quick-witted jokes. Most of them happen to revolve around the popular children's series Arthur, as she believes Legend shares a resemblance with the famous aardvark.
In this adorable photo, daughter Luna is holding an Arthur plush doll. Teigen captioned the picture "Luna and daddy," in reference to the ongoing saga of Arthur jokes about her husband. It didn't take long for her to make the moment sweet, though. "This is my childhood Arthur doll. My mom has kept it all this time," she said in a comment below the post. "Maybe I've been attracted to Arthur my whole life and now I found my real life human one."
Accidents happen, and it looks like one did in this case. For some reason, a photo of Chrissy Teigen has been used to promote this strange and bizarre article about a Little Caesar's restaurant allegedly selling frozen pizza. Instead of a pic of any pizza brand relevant to the situation, the photo looks to be a red carpet shot of Teigen, dressed to the nines in a full face of makeup.
"Why I am I the face of this" Chrissy asked her followers without further context, seemingly confused yet amused by the mishap. Though if we're being real, we bet her picture led to a lot of clicks on that article!

Though this post was a paid partnership, we think that it's important, and one of the times that Chrissy Teigen has spoken up for something that may impact many women! Postpartum depression is sometimes a delicate subject, but Teigen makes her support for the cause known with a beautiful Mother's Day photo of her and young son Miles.
Though the joys of a new child are immense, Teigen addresses the need for supportive communities and listening ears for new moms struggling with the "baby blues" after they have given birth. Many don't realize the hormonal changes that can happen in the aftermath of pregnancy, which Teigen probably understands firsthand as a mom of two kids.
Chrissy Teigen may be one of the most relatable women on Instagram for her humor, but we also think her desire to address important issues makes her a real winner at social media.
