Model and cookbook author Chrissy Teigen has managed to find a lot of success with the latter. Her two cookbooks- 2016's Cravings: Recipes for All of the Food You Want to Eat and 2018's Cravings: Hungry For More- quickly became New York Times bestsellers. Fans and critics alike both adore Teigen's cookbooks due to the recipes themselves, as well as her sarcastic wit that came out several times. The winning combination made for a fun read.
The success of both cookbooks has had fans wanting more and more for quite some time now. While they've been nice to enjoy, the cookbooks simply aren't enough anymore. If you've been itching for more from Cravings, then you're in luck! Teigen recently announced both a brand new Cravings website and a YouTube channel for fans to happily devour.
"Some of you have been around since my very first tiny, tiny website," Teigen began in her first video, which featured husband John Legend and their children, Luna and Miles. "It was like a wordpress blog I updated from my phone. I've been wanting to do a real website where there was a true community of people who love Cravings. Love the cookbook, love the cookware. Just a place where you could see everything that is our family."
The new Cravings website will offer a lot for fans to enjoy. Users will be able to create a personal profile for themselves on the site. This will allow them to bookmark recipes and content, as well as comment most anywhere they wish. Speaking of, commenting is interactive enough to allow you to share photos of your recreations of Teigen's recipes. You can also go to the "Ask" page to submit any cooking questions you may have to Teigen herself.
As for the accompanying YouTube channel, it's hard to say right now what kind of videos will go there. While recipes will surely make an appearance, fans are still wondering what else they'll see there. The one thing we can count on is Teigen's trademark sense of humour will be present throughout each and every upcoming video.
"I'm very proud to do this for you and John is proud to pay for it," she joked in the announcement video.
Needless to say, we can't wait to see what becomes of the Cravings' website and YouTube channel!
