When Keeping Up with the Kardashians aired on Sunday March 4th, which was episode 19 of season 14, there was a special surprise for longtime fans of the family: Kim Kardashian's surrogate was revealed.

She appeared in this episode, although her face wasn't filmed in order to give her some privacy, and it was super exciting. This was definitely a really great way to tell fans a bit more about her since it was done in a classy way that still maintained her privacy and there was no talk about it beforehand. Sure, Kim totally knows that she's so famous that everyone wants to know everything that there is to know about her and that includes her surrogate, but she wanted to keep most of this process and journey private.

14 She Had Never Met Kim's Fam Before

When the surrogate appeared in this episode of KUWTK, this was actually the very first time that she had met Kim's family. She was introduced to Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Khloe Kardashian, and probably met Kourtney too but she didn't seem to be in this particular scene.

This episode was filmed a while ago, of course, because she was still pregnant and we know that Chicago West was born on January 15th. There isn't a lot of information about her since maintaining her privacy seems to be very important to her, and of course, that's absolutely her right. 12 She Called Being Pregnant "Natural"

When La'Reina was asked how she feels about being pregnant and what her experience has been like, she had a super positive response, which is really nice to hear. You never want someone to have a rough time.

She said, "I've always had easy pregnancies. I like being pregnant. I know that sounds really weird. The pregnancy itself, you know, it just feels natural, like I'm supposed to do that." One interesting moment in that episode is when Kim tells the camera that it was great news that La'Reina would be able to deliver the baby naturally and wouldn't have to have a C-section. So it's safe to say that she delivered Chicago West naturally when he was born in January 2018.

Of course there's no shame for women who have to have a baby via C-section. Sometimes it's the only way and it's medically necessary. But it seems like most people would probably rather be able to have a natural birth instead. It's a very personal thing and there's no right or wrong way to feel about this subject, it just depends on you and what you want. When it was announced that Kim Kardashian would be having her third child via surrogate, the rumors started flying, and people wanted to know as much as they could about her.
