Life has been dark and gloomy since news broke of the end of one of our favorite celeb couplings of all time, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan. The undeniably good-looking couple broke our hearts, shattering our perceptions of true love. Okay, we're being a little dramatic here but honestly, it still blew the big one. After all, the pair was together for 10 years and share their beautiful daughter, Everly. It was a separation we just didn't see coming. While Jenna has been spotted out and about without her wedding ring since the joint announcement, Channing has now been papped, too - but with a less than desirable friend.

To the shock of women worldwide, Channing attended the Honda Indy Grand Prix with none other than Arie Luyendyk Jr., i.e. everyone's least favorite TV celebrity. Apparently, the two are pretty good friends now. We're just as shocked as you. How can one of the nicest guys in showbiz end up rubbing elbows with one of the biggest jerks of all time? We have no idea, but maybe it's a case of opposites attract. What's more, it sort of looks like Channing is actually proud of his new connection, as he shared some up close and personal snaps on his own Instagram. "Crazy fast couple laps in the rain!!" the actor captioned the picture. "Thanks @ariejr! And what an incredibly beautiful track Mr. Barder. Can't wait to come back here and rip some hot laps."

We're not sure what that lingo is all about, but we imagine it's some sort of racing speak. Arie also got in on the Instagram love fest that makes us want to vomit our Fruit Loops everywhere, posting a picture of the pair arm in arm in their Honda suits. "Such a great dude!" it read. "Fun meeting @channingtatum and getting to lead the field to green in the @Honda IndyCar." Let's hope that this is some sort of paid partnership on Arie's part to try and boost his profile, and that the buddiness isn't a sane decision on Channing's part.
