It seems like a single day can't go by that a major celebrity-- or pair of celebrities-- doesn't begin or end a romantic relationship. For people who like to stay up on such happenings, it can be exhausting trying to keep it all straight. Thankfully, TheTalko is here for you!

This is primarily a list of 20 celebrity couples who have officially (or as close to "officially" as possible) ended a relationship at some point during 2019. But just to keep things from getting too depressing, we've also sprinkled in a handful of famous couples who made their relationships legal this year. Of course, relationship changes among celebrities are happening all the time and are seldom permanent, so this list is only confirmed accurate as of the date it was published.

25 Broke Up: Brie Larson And Alex Greenwald

Sadly, it seems like a lot of relationships come to an end just as one of the people in it is reaching a new level of fame. Such is the case with Brie Larson, who hit new heights of celebrity this year when she headlined her very own MCU movie, Captain Marvel...only to have her three-year engagement to musician Alex Greenwald end just before the movie's release.

24 Broke Up: Bradley Cooper And Irina Shayk

Bradley Cooper has come a long way since his mainstream breakthrough role as the preppy villain in the Vince Vaughan/Owen Wilson comedy Wedding Crashers, now a multiple Academy Award nominee for both acting and writing. His partner during the last few-- and arguably best-- years of his career was model Irina Shayk, with whom Cooper had his first child. However, the couple reportedly called it quits in June after four years together.

23 Tied The Knot: Sophie Turner And Joe Jonas

On now on to some happier news! The same year that saw the Jonas Brothers surprise fans by reuniting as a band, Joe Jonas wed actress Sophie Turner (Game of ThronesX-Men: Dark Phoenix) first via an impromptu Vegas wedding and, later, in a more official ceremony in Paris. Joe was the final brother to get married, following Nick's wedding to Priyanka Chopra last December.

22 Broke Up: Emma Roberts And Evan Peters

It's not unusual for co-stars and on-screen lovers to enter a relationship in real life, and that's what happened with American Horror Story's Emma Roberts and Evan Peters. Their relationship wasn't exactly the most stable, with domestic abuse allegations in 2013 and a year-long break from 2015 to 2016. But they officially called it quits earlier this year when they broke off their engagement and Peters moved out of the home they had shared.

21 Broke Up: Ben Affleck And Lindsay Shookus

Actor, writer, and director Ben Affleck has had some of the most high-profile relationships in the last few decades with some of the most famous women of the last few decades, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, and most recently, Jennifer Garner. Affleck tried a slightly more low-key route with his most recent relationship, dating producer Lindsay Shookus for about two years, but the couple having kids from previous relationships on opposite costs ultimately proved too complicated.

20 Broke Up: Adele And Simon Konecki

With the exception of Taylor Swift, no singer of the last decade or so has built as strong a career out of heartbreaks and failed relationships than Adele. For a time, it seemed like all that was behind her, marrying and having a child with Simon Konecki, who was by her side as she racked up awards for all those records about her exes. Sadly, Konecki is now the potential subject of future breakup ballads by Adele as the couple separated this year.

19 Broke Up: Jamie Foxx And Katie Holmes

Katie Holmes is more known these days as the woman who married, had a child with, and then "escaped" from Tom Cruise as she is for any of her acting work. But while the world was watching her raise Suri almost entirely on her own, she was also quietly dating actor, comedian, and musician Jamie Foxx for several years. The couple mostly kept their relationship private and out of the public eye, though everyone still heard about their split in September.

18 Tied The Knot: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson And Lauren Hashian

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is one of those celebrities that, even if you aren't particularly a fan of any of his movies, you can't help but have a fondness for...well, unless you're Vin Diesel. Much of that lovable persona is due to Johnson being in a long-term, committed relationship with Lauren Hashian for over a decade, and marrying her in a beautiful ceremony in Hawaii this past summer.

17 Broke Up: Ariel Winter And Levi Meaden

The relationship between Modern Family star Ariel Winter and Canadian actor Levi Meaden was fraught with controversy from the start, with Meaden being 29 and Winter only having just turned 18 ten months prior to the official start of their relationship. The couple reportedly split in early October, though they appear to still be on good terms and have been spotted continuing to hang out.

16 Broke Up: Skylar Astin And Anna Camp

Another relationship sparked on set was between Pitch Perfect stars Skylar Astin and Anna Camp, who also appeared together in the TBS sitcom Ground Floor. Camp began dating Astin after divorcing actor Michael Mosely (Ozark), and the pair wed in October of 2016. Unfortunately, they only lasted until this year, officially divorcing in April.

15 Broke Up: Kate Beckinsale And Pete Davidson

Yes, we know that Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson more recently broke up with actress Margaret Qualley, but we felt his relationship-- and subsequent break up-- with Kate Beckinsale was more notable. It's still a mystery what Beckinsale saw in Davidson other than just wanting to have some mindless fun with a younger guy for a couple of months, but she could probably have any 20-something dude she wanted. Your guess is as good as ours.

14 Broke Up: Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth

This isn't the first time pop star Miley Cyrus split from Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth...but this time it was a divorce rather than just a break up, which obviously feels more final. The fact that Cyrus has already confirmed that she's in a committed relationship with Australian musician and actor Cody Simpson only further cements the end for her and Hemsworth.

13 Broke Up: Kylie Jenner And Travis Scott

Trying to keep up with the love lives of just the Kardashian-Jenner clan is an exhausting is an exhausting endeavor all on its own. The Kardashian-Jenner girls also really seem to like rappers, with Kylie first spending three years with Tyga before dating Travis Scott, the latter of whom is the father of her daughter, Stormi. Unfortunately, just a few weeks ago, Kylie and Travis split up...whether that sticks remains to be seen.

12 Broke Up: Joey Fatone And Kelly Baldwin

Joey Fatone was back on stage singing this year, but not as part of N*Sync or anything quite so obvious-- he was one of the contestants on the first season of Fox's The Masked Singer, playing the part of the deranged Rabbit. Alas, Fatone didn't only make headlines for fun reasons in 2019, as he also announced his divorce from wife of 14 years, Kelly Baldwin, in May.

11 Tied The Knot: Zoë Kravitz And Karl Glusman

One name that has been heavily on the lips of comic book fans in recent weeks is Zoë Kravitz, as it was announced she would be the latest actress to play a live-action Catwoman in the upcoming film The Batman. Of course, she has her stepdad, Aquaman's Jason Mamoa, to ask for advice on playing a comic book character in a movie. And speaking of Kravitz's family, she added another member to it this past June when she wed actor Karl Gulsman (The Neon Demon).

10 Broke Up: Tom DeLonge And Jennifer DeLonge (née Atkins)

Blink-182 co-founded Tom DeLonge had a rather tumultuous tenure with the band in its latter years, eventually resulting in his firing in 2015. Unfortunately, that wouldn't prove to be the only long-term partnership that came to an end for DeLonge recently, as earlier this year he got divorced from wife Jennifer who he began dating in 1996 and married in 2001.

9 Broke Up: Christina Hendricks And Geoffrey Arend

Although many felt that Mad Men star Christina Henricks and Body of Proof's Geoffrey Arend were a bit mismatched as a couple-- we'll let you guess who people thought was out of who's league-- the couple seemed happily in love any time they appeared in public throughout their decade-long marriage. So it was a bit shocking when the couple released a joint statement via Instagram in October that they were separating, right around when they should've been celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary.

8 Broke Up: Dylan McDermott And Maggie Q

Just last year, actor Dylan McDermott was still singing the praises of fiancée Maggie Quigley (better known as Maggie Q), saying he "knew immediately" that the actress and model was his soulmate. It's not clear what went wrong, but after one final appearance together on a red carpet last November, things seemed to go sour as they stopped being seen together or discussing one another on social media. By March, reports of their broken engagement were everywhere.

7 Broke Up: Wendy Williams And Kevin Hunter

Perhaps one of the main reasons why gossip talk show host Wendy Williams felt so emboldened to dish the dirt on other celebrities and their relationships is that she was in a happy, long-lasting marriage with Kevin Hunter, who also produced her show. But these days, with their divorce looming, Williams has redirected her celebrity mud-slinging to her own soon-to-be ex-husband, not surprisingly. If there is one person we wouldn't want knowing our dirty secrets, it's Wendy Williams!

6 Tied The Knot: Chris Pratt And Katherine Schwarzenegger

Few celebrity breakups in recent years broke our hearts worse than the divorce of Chris Pratt and Anna Faris, who finalized the ending of their seemingly perfect marriage in 2018. But whether you're over it or not, Pratt certainly is-- he's already gotten remarried, to author Katherine Schwarzenegger. And, no, her last name isn't just a coincidence: She is the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver.

5 Broke Up: Andy Richter And Sarah Thyre

1994 was a big year for Andy Richter: Not only was he finding his groove as Conan O'Brien's sidekick on the soon-to-be-classic Late Night with Conan O'Brien, but he got married to actress and author Sarah Thyre. The couple would go on to have two children together and have a 25-year marriage, though you already know how it ends: Richter announced on Twitter in April that they were getting a divorce.

4 Broke Up: Allison Williams And Ricky Van Veen

Most of the world first took noticed of actress Allison Williams when she played Marnie Michaels on the HBO series Girls, and she's played a variety of roles in movies and television since. You may not know that Williams married CollegeHumor co-founder Ricky Van Veen in 2015, or that Tom Hanks officiated the ceremony. But now you do know that the couple filed for divorced this past June.

3 Broke Up: Zooey Deschanel And Jacob Pechenik

Zooey Deschanel has been primarily associated with her sitcom New Girl for much of the 2010s, but it's almost that time of year when millions of people continue the tradition of firing up Elf and watching her adorable chemistry with Will Ferrell. One person that might not be doing that, however, is producer Jacob Pechenik, as it might be too painful to watch a movie featuring the wife he separated from in September.

2 Broke Up: Larry King And Shawn King

It's been a long-repeated punchline-- especially by Conan O'Brien-- the large number of wives talk show host Larry King has had. And that's fair, since he has said "I do" to seven different women in his 85 years. However, it seemed like current wife, Shawn Southwick was going, to be his last, as the two had been married since 1997. Alas, Shawn isn't just wife number seven but will soon be divorce number seven as proceedings began in August.

1 Tied The Knot: Idris Elba And Sabrina Dwhore

Idris Elba has worn many hats during his career: actor, producer, writer, singer, DJ, and rapper. He has also held the title of husband three times, most recently to former Miss Vancouver Sabrina Dwhore. Elba has long been rumored to be in contention to take over as James Bond after Daniel Craig's tenure is over, something he has stated is never going to happen-- but that's probably fine by him, since he's already found the real-life equivalent of a Bond Girl to marry.
