After a social media argument that seemed to last all day long, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj called a truce on their months-long feud. In Twitter and Instagram posts, the rappers have agreed to keep a positive attitude towards each other going forward. It is believed that the two privately reconciled before going public with the truce.

On Monday, October 29th, Minaj finally opened up about her ongoing rivalry with Cardi during her Beats 1 radio show, Queen Radio. She even spilled some more details about their infamous fight at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party during New York Fashion Week, claiming that she was entirely innocent.

Minaj began her show by talking about how it was her friend, Rah Ali, who punched Cardi several times in the head. She joked that she would pay $100,000 to anyone with surveillance footage of the incident. Additionally, Minaj dismissed rumors that she leaked Cardi’s phone numbers to the public following the fight—a claim that Cardi’s sister, Hennessy Carolina, made this past weekend.

The social media argument then began with an Instagram rant from Cardi Monday afternoon. The “Money” rapper uploaded a series of 10 videos to her feed in which she responded to several issues that Minaj brought up during her radio show. In one video, Cardi said that she still believes Minaj was responsible for leaking her phone numbers. Throughout the other posts, she threatened to sue Minaj for defamation of character.

She also called Minaj a liar, claiming that the “Queen” rapper initially boasted about already having security footage of the fight, but is now looking to purchase the footage. Finally, in another video, Cardi invited Minaj to talk about the feud in person, because she is tired of fighting through interviews and social media. “We can talk about it, or we can fight it out. I’m with whatever,” she said.

In response to Cardi’s videos, Minaj took to Twitter and wrote that she would pay for Cardi B to take a lie detector test about the claims Minaj made on her radio show. In another tweet, Minaj called Cardi a “fkn fraud.” Throughout the rest of the evening, Minaj retweeted several posts from fans backing her up in the feud.

At the end of the night, the feud seemed to end in the blink of an eye. Minaj’s final tweet on the matter stated that she wanted to focus on positivity from now on. “I know this stuff is entertaining & funny to a lot of people but I won’t be discussing this nonsense anymore,” her tweet read. Cardi agreed, sharing a screenshot of the tweet on her own Instagram. She captioned the post, “@Nickiminaj alright then! Let’s keep it positive and keep it pushing!"
