As soon as Riverdale bounded onto our screens in 2017, fans fell in love with the cast members. In particular, the chemistry between co-stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse, aka Betty and Jughead, was so palpable that rumors started swirling that the two were dating IRL. The painfully good looking pair often pop up in each other's social media, but it's never been outright confirmed. A fan even asked the status of the relationship in a recent fan expo, but wasn't given a strict yes or a no. Now, it looks like the couple have made their red-carpet debut, and we were not ready for this level of sweetness.

Sprouse and Reinhart attended the Met Gala together, looking incredible. One photo in particular got tongues wagging, where Lily places a hand on her rumored-beau's chest, while Cole wraps his arm around her. If that isn't the standard "This is my man" pose, then we don't know what is. Lily looks incredible in a chain-mail inspired off-the-shoulder silver dress, while Cole sported a black tux. It's the first red carpet event that the two have attended together, and great press for Riverdale.
There's been a fair amount of speculation over the past year, with good reason. Cole is an avid photographer and has shared some pretty dope pictures of Lili in countryside locations, starting back in March of 2017. The first picture of the blonde-beauty laying among the flowers sent fans into a frenzy, thus birthing their first couple moniker, "Sprousehart". Yep, it needed a little work. By July of last year People had reported that the pair were seen "canoodling, holding hands and kissing" at a Comic-Con party, and later in the month they were spotted on camera accidentally holding hands during an interview. Co-star Skeet Ulrich who play's Jughead's dad in the show seemed to confirm the relationship when talking to E! in the fall, claiming he wasn't surprised and wished them all the best.
