This next one is another great restaurant that brings you a great mix of Latin and American fare. Home State focuses on awesome Tex-Mex dishes at their two locations in Los Feliz and Highland Park.
They have tons of options for breakfast tacos, including the Trinity, which has eggs, bacon, potatoes, and cheddar cheese.
Entrees include a Texas Toast Sandwich and a Frito Pie In A Bag! You’ll want to check out their menu for those, they sound amazing. They even have chips and queso! You’ll feel like you’re right there in Texas enjoying great food and great people with this one!
Next, we have another awesome restaurant that will make you want Italian for brunch every day! Rossoblu in Los Angeles is “Bologna inspired and Los Angeles made.” The chef, Steve Samson, calls Bologna and L.A. home. Their motto also includes “an ode to family, tradition, and craftsmanship”, so you know it’s good! Their menu includes a lot of classic dishes, like Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and a Breakfast Sandwich, mixed with true Italian brunch items. The Frittata Parmigiana has marinated eggplant, mozzarella, tomato sugo, and basil. What a great representation of the simple, yet delicious Italian items this place has to offer!

If you think about it, the Aussies really do know how to brunch! Australians know all too well the art of great food, hanging out with friends, and enjoying some wonderful weather. Little Ripper Coffee in L.A. is an Australian owned coffee shop with the coolest menu.
They have what Australians call “jaffles” which are basically delicious toasted sandwiches.
The Loaded Jaffle comes with prosciutto, avocado, and kill (hot) sauce. It sounds ace! That’s how the Australians would say it. They would also say that this place is a great place to swig and yarn, or as we would say, sip and chat.
3 Sunny Spot
What’s the one word you love to hear when it comes to brunch? Bottomless! Sunny Spot in Venice has awesome food and bottomless drinks! Even the name of this place just makes you want to hang out in the sun and enjoy a great brunch. Their brunch menu includes everything from a Double Cheeseburger to a Hot Chicken Sandwich to classic Buttermilk Pancakes. Bottomless drinks include mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, and Sunny Rum Punch. They even have delivery and catering. Sunny Spot loves to be the place where you can “gather, relax, and share some great food or drinks.” Sounds like our kind of place!
2 Native Restaurant
Time to move over to the picturesque city of Santa Monica for our next great brunch spot. The motto of this restaurant, Native, is “an expression of love through food” and that sounds great to us! Chef Nyesha Arrington strives to celebrate the multicultural landscape of Los Angeles through her incredible food.
The brunch menu includes unique dishes like Kimchi Latkes and Umami Porridge.
You can also go for classic dishes, such as Coconut Brown Butter Pancakes and a Ham and Cheese Sandwich. This place really is a culmination of what we all love Los Angeles for, the culture, the beauty, and the food!
Time to explore a type of cuisine we haven’t had on this list. Middle Eastern cuisine is actually a fantastic choice for brunch. Kismet in Los Angeles calls themselves a “casual, all-day restaurant” that brings Mideast flavors to California. Their food is meant to be eaten family style, so it is a perfect place to bring all your friends! They serve something called Kuku, which is a Persian-style frittata with swiss chard, barberries, white beans, greens, and yogurt. They also have baked scones and plenty of salad options. If you and your friends or family are looking to expand your brunch palettes, you have to try this place!
