Brody Jenner Reveals That His Split With Kaitlynn Carter Will Play Out On Season Two Of “The Hills: New Beginnings”

Everyone knows that drama and reality TV go hand in hand. Of course, fans and haters alike will be quick to point out that most of that drama is likely scripted. However, there have been certain instances where the drama is- or at least looks- all too real. When this happens, watching the reality TV show where it's going down can be less entertaining and more hard to watch.

In the case of The Hills: New Beginnings star Brody Jenner, 36, this will happen during season two of the MTV reality show reboot of The Hills. His split from his wife of one year, fellow co-star Kaitlynn Carter, 31, has been confirmed to be on the show next season. This means that fans will see the couple terminate their relationship, making it feel all too real for those who've gone through something similar.

"I’m sure you’re going to see a lot of that. Of course, you have to stay tuned to see what goes on with that. But, you’ll definitely see some of that," Jenner admitted in a recent interview. But he also pointed out that filming for season two had yet to begin.

Since going their separate ways, neither Carter nor Jenner have wasted time trying to move on. Carter began dating singer/actress Miley Cyrus, 26, although the pair split roughly a month later. Meanwhile, Jenner is currently dating model Josie Caneso, 22. But despite the latter's new romance, it's unclear if it'll also be featured during season two of The Hills: New Beginnings.

"I can’t answer that at this time, to be completely honest. Everything is kind of up in the air with MTV about who’s going to be on the second season. There’s no preparation for the kind of things that they throw at you," Jenner explained. "If you prepare for something, they’ll throw a complete curveball. I will say that there were some things, initially, that came out this season that I didn’t feel was anybody’s business. But obviously, the way The Hills is, they pry and they go in and they want to know all this s— that you don’t want them to know. It’s a process but, like I said, ultimately we signed up for this for a reason and it’s to let people into our lives and you need to respect that and you gotta play ball."

This situation isn't one that anyone would want to find themselves in. Most would prefer having their relationship issues kept as private as possible in order to make it less of a painful experience. Here's hoping that everyone involved will be able to get through this.
