Britney Spears and Ryan Gosling had quick Mickey Mouse Club reunion on The Ellen Show. Britney Spears appeared on The Ellen Show recently to share that she has an announcement; all while Gosling appeared on the show that same day.
Britney, who has since announced she will be coming to Las Vegas with a brand new residency titled, "Domination", promoted the news on The Ellen Show, which is where she and former co-star Gosling, had a cute reunion. Spears and Gosling both appeared on the Mickey Mouse Club series nearly 23 years ago, and the two were snapped posing a pic backstage. Gosling admitted to Ellen during his interview on the show how he nor Spears could even remember the last time they both saw one another, saying: “which I think is a sign that it’s been quite a while”, go figure!
Britney and Ryan have both had immensely successful careers since first appearing as kids on the Disney series, but have shifted into opposite areas of the industry, Gosling working on film and television, and Spears taking over the pop music scene. As mentioned, the two appeared on the classic show back in 1993, alongside other big names such as Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Keri Russell, and JC Chasez, funny enough both Timberlake and Chasez would later reunite as members of ‘N Sync.
Gosling took a walk down memory lane when talking about the Disney show with talk show host, Ellen, saying how: “I remember when we first got to the show, they sort of had all the kids perform for one another”, Gosling said. He also revealed how both Christina and Britney sang for their performances, and how he could remember them being “freakishly” talented. Gosling said that Britney was a blast to work with, and was a sweetheart during their years on the show.
The stars also revealed how the cast would often play spin the bottle, but Spears made it clear that she and Gosling “didn’t kiss”. Britney and co-star Justin became a couple years later, however, Gosling revealed that he actually had a crush on Britney at the time. Flash forward nearly two decades, and the two are back together backstage on The Ellen Show, we love a good reunion, and this one definitely takes the cake.
