When your self-confidence is not at its best, it will affect every aspect of your life. However, did you know there are ways you can boost your self-confidence in only 10 minutes?

Oh yes, you no longer have to wait hours or even days to feel better. According to Thrive Global, the two most important times a day for you are right before you go to bed and immediately after you wake up. They are referred to as the "bookends" of the day.

If you can figure out to make the most of your bookends, then you will be able to gain control over the rest of your day. There is a 10-minute routine that will help you master each one of the bookends.

Before you go to bed, pull out your journal and write about your day, the report should be accurate and honest. Fill it with all the highs and lows of what went on during your day.

Write down things that triggered you, as well as what you might have done differently. It is the process of being accountable for the good and bad, acknowledging the part that you played in each one.

Next write how you would like to see the next day go, positively and optimistically. Make a mental commitment to have a good day and imagine yourself crushing the day.

After you wake up in the morning, also write in your journal. Remind yourself of your goals, your dreams, what you need to focus on that day, who you want to be and who you need to reach out to.

All of these intentions will get your mind right for the day and help you reaffirm your goals. By writing it all down you are holding yourself accountable, as well as starting off your day on a positive note. When you are in a positive state, it is a peak state to be in for confidence.
