Even celebrities like to impersonate their favorite stars, and this look-alike photo is one for the books.
Back in 1997, Lively, like so many of us, was a fan of the Spice Girls, so she, of course, went to see them in concert. However, when she was at the concert, the Gossip Girl alum managed to convince one young fan that she was Baby Spice. The story came to light the other day thanks to the little girl in the photo who was shocked to find out who she really met at the concert years later.
In the post, Lively (kind of) apologized to Bria Madrid in her post for tricking her into thinking she was Emma Bunton, a.k.a. Baby Spice, who was also tagged. She also thanked her for sharing the photo.
The entire Instagram post went vial immediately, but it wasn't all of the random fan comments that caught the actress's attention. Baby Spice herself took the time to comment on Lively's photos, which sent the almost 31-year old into full fan-girl mode. Bunton was nothing but thrilled with the pigtails Lively was rocking back then and only had love for her impersonation.
Lively replied to Bunton's comment admitting what a fan she has been and how she couldn't believe her idol knew who she was. Seriously, Ryan Reynold's wife was all of us who have had the chance to interact with a favorite celebrity, especially one from childhood. As it turns out, celebrities can fangirl just as much as the rest of us.
The entire exchange began when Bria posted the original photo of herself with whom she thought was Baby Spice but was really Lively.
"Found a picture when I was 5 at my first concert. #SpiceGirls and took a picture with a girl dressed up as Baby Spice who I just realized now was @blakelively," Madrid Tweeted.
The burning question remains. If you were Bria would you be mad that you didn't meet Baby Spice, thrilled you met the now household name Blake Lively, or both?
