Audrina Patridge’s Ex-Husband Has Been Cleared Of Child Abuse Charges

It appears that Audrina Patridge's ex-husband, Corey Bohan, has been cleared of child abuse charges regarding their daughter.

When it comes to her personal life, The Hills: New Beginnings star Audrina Patridge has not had it easy. She's allegedly endured spousal abuse from her ex-husband- professional dirt bike rider Corey Bohan- which eventually led her to file for divorce. Despite their divorce having been finalized since last year, the pair are still in the midst of a bitter custody battle over their three-year-old daughter, Kirra Max.

During this custody battle, Patridge accused Bohan of abusing their daughter. This led to an investigation into whether or not her accusations were true. But it was recently revealed that, after an investigation by officials from the Child Abuse Services Team (CAST), the Orange County District Attorney's office has dropped all child abuse charges against Bohan.

"The court already has access to the social services report regarding [Audrina's] allegations of abuse toward the minor child. After reviewing the CAST video and conducting an investigation, Social Services has elected to close the matter meaning that it did not believe there was enough evidence, even with the video, to make a case. Likewise, the District Attorney did not believe there was enough evidence to file charges and has rejected the case," Bohan's lawyer said in unsealed legal documents.

From what those legal documents say, it appears as though the evidence of child abuse against Kirra was sufficient enough to justify charges against Bohan. Neither Patridge nor Bohan has commented on the matter. Whether it's because they can't or don't want to remains to be seen. These child abuse allegations also don't seem to have been mentioned on any episodes of The Hills: New Beginnings.

This means that Bohan won't face prosecution on child abuse charges- for now. Despite the rejection from the Orange County District Attorney's office, this matter has been moved back to local law enforcement for them to investigate further. This means that there's still the possibility in the future for child abuse charges to be filed against Bohan in the future.

While this ugly custody battle continues to drag on in the courts, we can only hope that- for the sake of the pair's little girl- Patridge and Bohan can eventually reach an agreement that works for everyone.
