Ariana Grande has been keeping a low profile lately, and we don’t blame her whatsoever. The “God Is A Woman” singer has recently been through a lot and has decided to keep much of her social life on the down low. After rapper Mac Miller passed away earlier this month, Grande has stayed out of the limelight to give herself time to heal during what must be a very difficult time.
The star first opened up regarding Miller’s death after posting a shot of him on her Instagram, followed by a video of the two when they were dating a few days later. Grande was then seen out and about on the streets of New York City with her friends and fiancé, Pete Davidson. The couple were expected to attend the 2018 Emmy Awards but backed out due to the recent events that have transpired this month. Grande, who has just released her latest studio album, Sweetener, has had what we can only imagine being a bittersweet month.
The star has recently mentioned that although her album had massive success, it doesn’t look like she’ll be heading on tour anytime soon. It goes without saying that with any major album, an artist will tour for the months following its release. Grande has been on a tour for every album she’s come out with, but it’s not looking so good this time around.
According to E! Online, Grande said she wouldn’t be heading on tour for a “long time”. The news comes right after Ariana herself posted to Instagram that it will be quite some time before she heads on a Sweetener tour. Fans were quick to inquire about when she would be going on tour to give them enough time to save up money for it.
The singer wrote in a since-deleted comment, how they are going to be “saving for a loooooooooooooong time”. Fans were sad to hear that the singer wouldn’t be headed to a city near them, all while understanding that the star needs time to recover from Miller’s passing. Ariana thanked her fans for their understanding, and has assured them that she is taking time to heal and focus on new music! We’re sending our love to Ariana, and wish her nothing but the best.
