Ariana Grande is back on top of her game, releasing the details of her upcoming album Sweetener and giving fans some hints about what's to come. We know the names of a few tracks, and it looks like Ariana has teamed up with hip-hop royalty for one of them. Fans were excited when the star shared a clip of single "The Light Is Coming", recognizing Nicki Minaj's distinctive tone.

It wouldn't be the first time that the pair has worked together, with Ariana appearing on Nicki's song "Get On Your Knees" and Nicki dropping some bars for 2016's "Side to Side". The clip shows the beautiful actress-turned-singer mouthing along to the words in the sneak peek to the new track.

Needless to say, it got Ari's followers pretty shook. Eagle-eyed followers will have had their suspicions that a new collab was on the horizon, as Ariana tweeted about how much she loves Nicki a few weeks ago, side by side with some words that seemed suspiciously like lyrics - although Ari brushed that off. Nicki has been keeping things pretty quiet on her end, being more vocal about her supposed relationship with Eminem than a union with Ariana.

This year has marked a turning point for the 24-year-old, who recently marked one year since the Manchester Arena bombing of May 22nd, 2017. 23 fans lost their lives at this concert.  A further 139 were physically wounded, while hundreds more have been deeply affected. Ariana also recently called time on her relationship with rapper Mac Miller who helped her through the fallout from the attack. Now, she's back with new music and a new love interest, having seemingly confirmed her romance with SNL's Pete Davidson. Davidson has just come out of a long-term relationship himself, splitting with Larry David's daughter Cassie earlier this month.
