In a series of teaser photos on Instagram yesterday, Ariana Grande revealed her modern-day witch look for NBC’s upcoming concert production of the hit Broadway musical Wicked, and now we’re even more excited to see the show. As a celebration of the musical’s 15th anniversary, A Very Wicked Halloween will feature Grande singing one of Wicked’s top songs, along with performances by some of Wicked’s original Broadway cast members.

Grande’s series of selfies from the show’s taping on October 16th offered a sneak peek of her Elphaba look, complete with stunning emerald green, sparkling makeup. The pop singer’s eyes donned green glitter eyeshadow and dramatic black winged eyeliner. She wore bold, glimmering green lipstick in the same shade. As if her makeup wasn’t eye-catching enough, Grande accented the look with a giant statement choker featuring—you guessed it—green gems, along with gemstone stud earrings.

Her Instagram pictures didn’t show too much of her outfit, but a fan video on Twitter showed her wearing a bright green peplum top and black leather pants during her performance. Of course, Grande’s look isn’t quite the same as Elphaba’s original head-to-toe green skin, but we could totally see 2018 Elphaba rocking this look.

Although the full set list for A Very Wicked Halloween has not been revealed yet, we know from another Grande Instagram post that she will be singing “The Wizard and I”—the musical’s fourth most popular song among fans, according to Broadway.com. Other performers include Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, AKA the stars who played the leading roles of Elphaba and Glinda until 2004, respectively.

Another Wicked alum set to join in the celebration is Adam Lambert, who appeared in the first national touring of Wicked, as well as current members of the Broadway cast. A capella sensation Pentatonix and Grammy-winning actress Ledisi are also confirmed to appear.

A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway was taped earlier this week at the famed Marquis Theater in Manhattan in front of a live audience. The celebration will air on NBC on Monday, October 29th and 10/9c. Get your vocal cords ready to sing along to “Defying Gravity!” Let us know in the comments if you’re going to watch the special.
