Are Brody Jenner And Lauren Conrad Still Friends?

Back when the original The Hills was on-air, stars Lauren Conrad and Brody Jenner were quite the hot couple. Conrad was arguably the star of the show, whereas Jenner acted as her close friend and love interest. Fans loved to watch the couple and their adventures amidst all the chaos and drama that was already par for the course.

But that was then, and this is now. The couple went their separate ways a long time ago, but it remains unknown: Are Conrad and Jenner still friends to this day? Jenner is currently on The Hills: New Beginnings as a single man after ending his brief marriage to Kaitlynn Carter. Conrad isn't on the show; choosing instead to focus on her, fashion career, growing family and lifestyle brand. Needless to say, the two are in different places in life- and that's okay.

Jenner provided the answer to the aforementioned question not too long ago. He claimed that after Conrad left The Hills during the fifth season, she distanced herself from all of her co-stars. This included Jenner, too. While he explained that the two have run into each other "every few years", he didn't do into any more detail on that matter.

"I haven’t talked to Lauren for quite some time. It’s been, I don’t know, years," he said.

Despite this, it doesn't appear as though there's any ill will between the pair. In fact, Jenner went so far as to say that he wishes Conrad was part of The Hills: New Beginnings. She was one of two former castmates who aren't on the reboot- the second being Kirstin Cavallari, who had replaced Conrad back on The Hills. Still, all appears to be just fine between the former co-stars.

Conrad and Jenner started going out during season two of The Hills. They met through mutual friends, and Jenner was Conrad's "first guy" after her breakup with her high school boyfriend back in season one. They went on some dates, but the romance died out pretty quickly. It wasn't until 2016 when Conrad confessed that the pair's on-camera relationship wasn't real. She went on to say that it only happened because The Hills' producers wanted her to be in a relationship. Jenner corroborated her claims, and also added in the fact that they were just friends the whole time.
