There are so many couples in the world, and there are so many famous couples in Hollywood. Since these people are in the spotlight, we see them go through the ups and downs of life, as they share details on social media, grace the covers of magazines, and even have reality series that showcase their homes.

Yes, these couples are just like some of us, in the way that they have picked out a significant other and are going about life with this person.

Furthermore, these couples have decided to really let the world know how much they are in love… with ink! Believe it or not, there are quite a few celebs with matching tattoos out there, obviously with so much passion that they just had to permanently print it on their bodies.

We will say that, for better or for worse, some of these couples did not stay together, so definitely think hard before following in their footsteps. Like… How awkward to then have someone’s name or an old wedding date somewhere on the body and then break up with that person…

But the ones with matching ink who are still going strong… It is too cute. It is so inspiring. It is edgy. And it is all detailed below!

20 David And Victoria Beckham

While David Beckham may be best known for playing soccer, and while Victoria Beckham may always be called Posh Spice, this couple has been together for years and years with a famous family full of kiddos. The two actually have several matching tattoos, and David has his wife’s name tattooed on his right hand, as well.

One of her tattoos is a Hebrew phrase that translates to, “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine.” Victoria has hers inked down the top of her spine, while her husband’s version of this on his arm.

19 Beyonce And Jay-Z

One of the most iconic couples in Hollywood is Beyonce And Jay-Z. These singers have been married since 2008. They welcomed Blue Ivy into the world in 2012, and they had twins in 2017 are named Rumi and Sir. This couple also has a matching tat—the Roman numeral IV on their ring fingers. They were married on April 4, so a four obviously seemed like a good option to go with for ink, in honor of this date, but also, their daughter's name is Blue I-V-Y... Blue IV?

Honestly, though, this super famous couple could get any number anywhere, and people would still probably go crazy for them...

18 Chrissy Teigen And John Legend

This month, Chrissy Teigen turned to social media to share an image with a caption saying that her family is a cool one now; they have tattoos, so they only talk to other cool families with tattoos. Joking aside, this model and her well-known husband, singer John Legend, did get matching ink of each other’s names and their children’s names on their forearms.

The three names are written in a pretty cursive font and are very close together, with Chrissy's reading “johnlunamiles” and John's reading “chrissylunamiles” (since they had a son, Miles, last year, and a daughter, Luna, in 2016).

17 Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth

We are not sure how many people in the world have quotes from a Theodore Roosevelt speech tattooed on their bodies, but this next couple sure does… Singer Miley Cyrus and actor Liam Hemsworth are finally married, so many fans may know that they got tats together on their forearms.

Liam's line on his arm from this speech says this: "If he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly.” And the line on Miley's arm from this speech says this: "So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat.”

16 Kylie Jenner And Travis Scott

Those who keep up with the Kardashians (and their sisters) may remember that Kylie Jenner posted pictures of butterflies during the time people were trying to figure out if she had a baby and what she named her baby. Since then, fans have seen that her daughter, Stormi, has butterfly decorations all over her nursery.

And in 2017, after only dating for a little bit, Jenner and her boyfriend, Travis Scott, got matching butterfly tattoos on their ankles. Then, Stormi entered the world on February 1, 2018, and now, this couple is still together, through it all and despite any rumors.

15 Stephen And Ayesha Curry

Stephen Curry is kind of a big deal in the world of basketball, and through his fame, people have come to know his wife, Ayesha. These two seem very in love and appear to be very lovable, so fans will surely be into this next set of matching tats…

The Currys both have arrows on their bodies, to remind themselves to stay focused on the present. Lots of people get ink that shows an arrow. But the fact that this has a message, especially in today’s day and age and amidst all the fame? We love this and appreciate this reminder!

14 Dakota Johnson And Chris Martin

Dakota Johnson is an actress known for her starring role in the 50 Shades films. Chris Martin is the lead singer and co-founder of the rock band Coldplay. This couple has been dating since October 2017, and then, in September 2018, news spread that they seemed to have matching infinity sign tattoos.

Johnson’s ink was first spotted at the Venice Film Festival, and Martin’s was seen in Los Angeles at the S.E.A. Jeans launch. The infinity symbol gives off quite a message and meaning since it literally means forever and for infinity, so the relationship between the two must be pretty serious!

13 Megan Fox And Brian Austin Green

Megan Fox is an actress known for roles in films like Transformers, Jennifer's Body, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and New Girl. Brian Austin Green is an actor who is best known for playing David Silver on Beverly Hills, 90210. These two got married in 2010 and they have three sons together (Noah Shannon, who was born in 2012; Bodhi Ransom, who was born in 2014; and Journey River, who was born in 2016).

And then they got each other's names inked on their bods; Fox put her husband’s name on her lower stomach, and Green put his wife's name over his heart. How sweet!

12 Ariel Winter And Levi Meaden

Ariel Winter portrays Alex Dunphy on Modern Family, and Levi Meaden has appeared in The Secret Circle, iZombie, War for the Planet of the Apes, and Pacific Rim: Uprising. This young couple actually has two sets of matching tattoos!

First, as seen here, they each of half of a heart, so when they put their hands together, the heart becomes whole; this is super sweet and one of our faves on here actually. On a goofier yet still a sweet note, they have matching food tattoos, as well, which Winter shared by saying “peanut butter and cheese with my love.”

11 Sophie Turner And Joe Jonas

Sophie Turner—better known to many as Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones—began dating singer Joe Jonas in November 2016, and they announced their engagement in October 2017. Taking this step is clearly telling the world that they are in love, but they went even further by getting matching tattoos.

First, in July 2018, they got ink dedicated to their grandfathers at the same time; Jonas’ is a portrait in a frame, and Turner’s is an initial on her pinky. Then, this young couple recently got a quote from Toy Story on their wrists, showing that their love goes to infinity and even beyond that.

10 Elsa Pataky And Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth is a well-known actor (maybe people have heard of a little superhero character named Thor…?), and since 2010, he has been married to Elsa Pataky, a model, actress, and film producer. They have a daughter, India, who was born in 2012, and in 2014, they had twin sons who are named Tristan and Sasha.

In honor of their family, these two parents and spouses have the same tattoo on their forearms: the letters C, E, I, T and S in the Runic alphabet, which clearly represent the first letters of all the names in this Hemsworth family unit!

9 Behati Prinsloo And Adam Levine

Behati Prinsloo is a supermodel who has been married to singer Adam Levine of Maroon 5 since 2014. In May 2017, Levine showed off his knuckle tattoo, which reads "true love." Apparently, Prinsloo got her own tattoo on the very same day. That is not all, though.

They also both have tattoos that say "you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool" (hers is on her side, and his is on his right bicep). Then, after exchanging actual rings, they got matching ring finger tattoos; instead of just a boring ol’ circle, though, she has three dots going down that special finger.

8 Katy Perry And Russell Brand

And now, we are moving on to celebs with matching ink who may now be regretting this decision, like Katy Perry and Russell Brand. This singer and this actor have Sanskrit on their biceps, which says "Anuugacchati Pravaha" and which means "go with the flow."

Well, they went with it, as they were engaged but have now been split up for quite some time. Do they regret it? Do they think it was part of the flow? Did the matching ink jinx them? There are just so many questions here, but it is time to move on to the next set of exes...

7 Khloe Kardashian And Lamar Odom

As many know, Khloe Kardashian used to be with basketball player Lamar Odom, and to show off their love at the time, these two got each other's initials tattooed on their hands. Since then, Kardashian has since dated another basketball player and welcomed a baby girl into the world.

And while she does have a huge heart (meaning she clearly was in love with Odom—during at least that time of her life), she is too busy these days hanging out with her daughter, True, to worry about feeling bad for getting well-intentioned ink or to think about any long-gone exes!

6 Rihanna And Drake

Once upon a time, two of the most in-demand singers out there—Rihanna and Drake—were a couple. And during that time, they, too, got matching ink. Did they get some sweet quote? Did they go for hearts? No, their tattoos showed off camo sharks. Yes, that was read correctly by everyone. Why?

Well, true fans of theirs should know that Drake bought Rihanna a plush camo shark when this couple went on a date to Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto. So even if this relationship did not last, it is cute that they wanted to commemorate that date with this permanent ink.

5 Eva Longoria And Tony Parker

Actress Eva Longoria was married to basketball player Tony Parker from 2007 to 2011. During that time, she got a tattoo on her right wrist with a roman numeral (VII VII MMVII—their wedding date) and one of the back of her neck (a nine, which was Parker’s jersey number). He had both of these tattoos, too.

Since then, though, Longoria has had this ink removed, even though she said it was super painful to do so! So think before inking (even if in a relationship with a well-off and attractive famous person), and know that the removal process is not a fun one...

4 Britney Spears And Kevin Federline

Remember when pop princess Britney Spears was with Kevin Federline, a rapper, DJ, actor, television personality, professional wrestler, and fashion model? Yes, they were married from 2004 to 2007, so they went down this route, as well; they both got a pair of dice inked onto their bodies.

The dice show the lucky number seven on them, and hers are pink, while his are blue. Since it is now the year 2019, their marriage honestly seems like a story from so long ago, and that may be how these two celebrities feel about that time and about these tats, too!

3 Ariana Grande And Pete Davidson

Pete Davidson of Saturday Night Live and singer Ariana Grande had a relationship that we all heard about all the time, and they were even engaged for a few months in 2018. To celebrate the engagement, they got tattoos together.

And by the time they broke up, they apparently had 15 tattoos between them; most of these have been covered up since then. For some, it is hard to imagine getting that much ink. For others, it is strange to think about being able to afford that many in that short amount of time. But these two stars did it, even if they regret it now.

2 Jenna Dewan And Channing Tatum

Not too long ago, Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum split up after an eight-year marriage. But when this couple was on their honeymoon in 2009, they got their wedding vows inked onto their bodies. Tatum's is on his rib cage, and Dewan's is on her foot, and they say “side by side.”

Well, they are not really side by side any longer, sniff, but they do have a daughter, Everly, who was born in 2013. So we can guess that they may be by each other's sides at some points in life. The pretty ink was at least a good thought… then.

1 Ciara And Future

Here is one more story of matching tattoos on celebs gone wrong… Singer Ciara was engaged to rapper Future from October 2013 to August 2014, and they even had a son together, Future Zahir Wilburn, in 2014. They also, yes, had matching tats together—hers was an N (since Future’s name is Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn), while his was a C.

Almost immediately after the breakup, though, Ciara was in the process of removing hers, a source told E. Now, Ciara is married to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, and together, they have a daughter, Sienna Princess Wilson, who was born in 2017.
