Admit it – you do it. A couple can be walking past you in Starbucks, and you'll have an opinion. If she's got bleached waves, ripped jeans, a statement tank, and a #StatementBoyfriend to match.... grumble. Another perfect couple... and seriously, when is it my turn?

Celebrity couples seem to come in two formats. Either they're 100% matched, made for each other, and #Perfect, or they're throwing us question marks up the wazoo. Take some of Hollywood's best-matched couples. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher? Those two were made for each other. JLO and A-Rod totally work. Gigi Hadid has finally confirmed that she's back with Zayn Malik, and it's #Lit.

Jessie J and Channing Tatum. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin. 2018 couples might be all over the news, but the matched vs. mismatched deal was around before the Biebs took over. Hollywood's golden couples have been getting together, splitting up, and lasting (or not) since before we had color TV. We aren't going that far back, but let's not forget couples who got together prior to 2018.

We'll be Kimming the Kanye. Robbing the Chyna. Cruising the Holmes. From Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson to Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, here are Hollywood's 20 biggest mismatched couples. Some of them split (and we weren't surprised). The rest? We literally don't have a clue how they're still going...

20 KimYe: Proving Us Wrong Since 2012

They say opposites attract, right? Kim Kardashian comes as one self-obsessed, selfie-taking media mogul who has published an entire book of selfies (entitled Selfish). Kanye West is the outspoken, Twitter-ranting rapper who has called himself both a "God" and a "genius."

Kim and Kanye got together in 2012. In 2014, they tied the knot in a lavish Italian wedding that cost $1.5 million. North, Saint, and Chicago are their three kids.

Fans were convinced that the marriage wouldn't last.

Just recently, Kim defended Kanye by describing his smell–apparently, Kanye "smells of money." While Kim is angry that Kanye attempts to "control" her IG pics, these two are still going strong.

19 Ariana Grande And Pete Davidson: Made Zero Sense, "Thank U, Next"

Name one person who genuinely thinks that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson were a good match. The bubblegum pop sweetheart who "loves clouds" and can't decide between lavender or periwinkle blue as her favorite color somehow wound up with the SNL star who is straight-up weird (and a tiny bit creepy).

"For somebody who claims to hate relevancy, u sure love clinging to it, huh," was Ariana's IG post following her split.

Ariana said "I'm 100% marrying him," the day she laid eyes on Pete. After 24 days, these two were engaged. On October 14th 2018, Ariana called it off. "Thank U, Next" is now the chart-topping song that reminds us why this was never going to work.

18 Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes: Little Bo Peep And Mr. Controlling... Really?

Little Suri's $2 million wardrobe may match, but her parents sure didn't. In 2012, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes called time on their marriage. Reports of Tom's controlling behavior made major headlines–everything from "auditions" to be his wife to a forced "silent childbirth" shocked the world.

Katie was the carefree, girl-next-door that Dawson's Creek picked so well.

Tom Cruise may pull his own stunts in Mission Impossible, but this guy seemed to be Mr. Impossible.

The Mirror reports that Katie "cannot date in a public fashion," despite the divorce being over six years ago. It's no surprise Katie didn't seem to smile much while they were together–save the wedding photo.

17 Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber: "Wolves" Are Best-Reserved For Lyrics

Justin Bieber is currently #Infatuated with his new wifey, Hailey Baldwin. Their 2018 whirlwind romance follows a split from Selena Gomez (and a relationship that spanned nearly 10 years, on and off). "To me it was: I'm 18, I have a boyfriend, we look cute together," Selena said in earlier years.

In 2018, Selena said: "Then I got my heart broken and I cared. I was kind of in a corner, banging my head against the wall." These two were mismatched from the start. The wholesome, humble, and sweet girl vs. the heavily tattooed icon boy who lives for global domination.

16 Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom: "Want To Make Things Work This Time Around"

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are officially back together. 2016 was the year that this mismatched couple first started making headlines, although we're the ones still scratching our heads.

"Not ready to get married and have babies" was Orlando's reason for a previous split with Katy. They're now "trying to make it work a second time around."

Katy is a confident, feminine-strong power figure who pens songs like "Roar."

She certainly doesn't seem the type to settle for a Casanova who comes with a player reputation and a #DatedEveryone. Orlando Bloom might be a looker, but something about him seems best-suited to short flings.

15 Kourtney Kardashian & Younes Bendjima: #TitForTat Doesn't Last

Relationships are like onions–all the layers, right? Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have had more "on-offs" that Ross and Rachel in Friends. And with Scott Disick dating Sofia Richie, Kourtney proved that two can play at this game.

If Scott can date someone 15 years younger, so can Kourt. Younes was 24 when he started dating a 39-year-old Kourtney. #Didn'tLast

The Algerian-born model seemed to be enjoying the perks that come with dating a Kardashian–lots of social media exposure, fancy yachts, and luxury vacays. He's one of "those" guys, though. The couple split after Younes was spotted romancing a much younger woman.

14 Kris Jenner & Corey Gamble: Kanye's "Gold Digger" Lyrics Finally Make Sense

Corey Gamble is famous for... well, not much. Corey "works with Scooter Braun," the man responsible for Justin Bieber's success. Mostly though, Corey is famous for being the "toy boy" boyfriend that a 63-year-old Kris Jenner seems to have found happiness with.

"Since I hit on my second-grade teacher" is what Corey said about his attraction to older women.

A 29-year age gap and little in the way of shared interests make this odd couple one of the most mismatched duos in Hollywood.

Corey is worth $2.5 million. Kris Jenner is worth $60 million. Still, Kris calls Corey her "ride or die."

13 Come To Think Of It, Blac Chyna & Rob Kardashian Were Just That

Rob Kardashian always had something of the vulnerable about him. Lower profile than his power sisters, Rob has mostly ducked the cameras on account of his low self-esteem and the battle he has faced with his weight.

Rob & Chyna was the short-lived (but surprisingly popular) reality show that followed the antics and drama of this oddly-matched couple. Blac Chyna is #InYourFace. She barely wears any clothes, poses on sports cars, and is 100% out to earn the cash.

Rob had dated Rita Ora prior to shacking up with Chyna in 2016. While Rob and Chyna share a daughter, Dream, their failed relationship was anything but.

12 Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas: 11-Year Age Gap, "Story Wrote Itself"

2018 has thrown us more engagements than we can handle. First came Ariana and Pete. Then Hailey and Justin. Nick Jonas is 11 years younger than Priyanka Chopra, but that didn't stop a blossoming romance. "The age difference is not a big deal to them. He loves dating older women," Harper's Bazaar reported.

Now engaged and 100% loved-up, this couple is proving that age is just a number.

Priyanka is a rising face, but she's nowhere near as famous as Nick's previous flames (which include Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and Olivia Culpo). "The story sort of wrote itself," Priyanka said about the relationship.

11 Cheryl Cole & Liam Payne: 10-Year Age Gap, Called Their Kid "Bear," Done And Dusted

Take it from someone who actually watched a 14-year-old Liam Payne audition on the UK X Factor while Cheryl Cole flirtatiously judged him: "I like you. You're really cute," Cheryl said at the time.

Liam went onto become a One Direction superstar. He also found his way into Cheryl's love life. While these two share a son (whom they named Bear), they called time on their relationship in 2018. Liam admitted that they were "having struggles," and that things were not "fine and dandy."

"The funniest thing was a week before we were getting married. The next week we're splitting up," Liam told ES Magazine about the split.

10 Kourtney Kardashian & Luka Sabbat: 19-Year Age Gap, #Rebound?

Oh, Kourtney. When will you learn? Following her 2018 split from Younes Bendjima (model, way younger), Kourtney is now dating Luka Sabbat (model, way, way younger). Luka is also friends with Kendall Jenner–even she is older than him.

Kourtney turns 40 soon. Luka Sabbat is 20. "It makes her feel good to have these [attractive], young guys who are interested in her," People reported.

The relationship is only around a month strong, so it's hard to say if it will last.

So far though, this mismatched couple seem to be spending a lot of time together. Luka is the face of Evian, but the relationship isn't watertight, yet.

9 Chris Pratt & Katherine Schwarzenegger: Nothing But The Last Name Makes Sense

Chris Pratt is one of Marvel's most bankable actors. From Parks and Recreations sitcom face to global superstar, Chris made even more headlines in 2017 when he divorced Anna Faris. And Chris didn't stay single for long.

Chris is now dating an unknown face, although being Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter, the name definitely stands out. Chris has previously dated high-profile ladies. In 2004, Chris dated Emily VanCamp. Then came Anna Faris, whom Chris married.

ET reports that things are getting "pretty serious" since these two started dating in June 2018. In a way we see it. Mostly though, it doesn't make much sense.

8 Channing Tatum & Jessie J: Looking Like The Ex-Wife Makes The Wrong Kind Of Sense

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan were a couple that stayed married for nine years (that's forever in Hollywood). In April 2018, they announced their divorce. "Lovingly chosen to separate as a couple" was their joint statement. Channing is now dating British singer Jessie J.

You know those situations when you're trying to describe a mismatched couple and the best you can manage is: "Um...I don't know, they just seem weird?"

Of course, we can't help but notice that the raven-haired Jessie J bears a striking resemblance to Channing's ex, Jenna. So far proving us wrong, but these two are still in the honeymoon phase.

7 Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton: Apparently, Grunge Pop And Country Works

They're both musicians, but the music world is big. Gwen Stefani has been dating Blake Shelton since 2015. That's one pin-up blonde, lipstick-wearing grunge pop star and one all-American country crooner.

Gwen has called Blake her "soulmate." Well, there's a curveball. Country music stars tend to date each other. What they don't do is venture into the mainstream music world. It's 100% cowboy boots, hats, dusty roads, and they'll steer clear of Hollywood if they can.

But Gwen and Blake bonded over their divorces. "I got her a horse and I got myself a horse at the same time," Blake told ET. Mismatched? Yes. Proving us wrong? Totally.

6 Jennifer Lawrence & Darren Aronofsky: 20-Year Age Gap Definitely Didn't Work

A 10 year age gap? We know regular people who've made it work as a long-lasting marriage. Even 15 years. It's around the 20-year mark though that all those "generation gap" things start to really hit a couple.

"There is a huge age difference, they are different people," The Daily Mail reported. Jen is 27 years old. Dating a guy who is pushing 50? It wasn't going to work.

Jennifer Lawrence dated director Darren Aronofsky for around a year before they split in 2017.

Despite being "infatuated with each other," The Daily Mail reported that the "huge age gap" was the cause of their breakup.

5 Emily Ratajkowski & Sebastian Bear-McClard: Married, Apparently

Bagging yourself a supermodel is way harder than bagging yourself a Kardashian. With their hectic schedules, demanding lifestyles, and blessed looks, these girls are picky as they come. Gisele Bundchen? She dated Leonardo DiCaprio before marrying Tom Brady.

"Sooo, I have a surprise, I got married today" was Emily Ratajkowski's Instagram update in 2018. Her husband? Sebastian Bear-McClard produces indie films. He's also an actor, but admit it, have you heard of him?

Looks-wise, well, we're not here to judge, but they're definitely an interesting pair. Emily is one of the world's highest-paid models. Looks like she's found the one, though.

4 Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore: We're Amazed They Lasted Six Years

Ages can be mismatched, but so can the general vibe. Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher were an oddly-paired couple–once. With Demi 16 years older than Ashton though, this relationship stood out for the weird "age gap thing" that seems to be a bigger issue when the girl is older.

Ashton was 25 when he met a 41-year-old Demi at a casual dinner with friends in 2003.

They got married, but reports of infidelity were rife. People reported that Ashton was "controlling," while Demi was reported to feel that she needed to "stay young and skinny to remain attractive to her husband." They stuck it out six years.

3 Elon Musk & Grimes: Don't Seem Bothered By The 17-Year Age Gap

Elon Musk is a billionaire who thinks strategically and generally gets results. The founder of PayPal and Tesla made his relationship with Grimes official at the 2018 MET Gala.

The internet is a weird place. In August 2018, Elon and Grimes both unfollowed each other on social media, but their split isn't confirmed. If anything, the move fueled more rumors that they're serious about each other.

They met over Twitter (how very Elon Musk). They share a love of artificial intelligence. Grimes is 30 while Elon is 47 years old. They're a mismatched couple for sure, but so far, they're proving us wrong.

2 Scarlett Johansson & Colin Jost: For A Girl Who "Doesn't Believe In Monogamy"

Most celeb marriages end because "it wasn't working" (or whatever reason the couple chooses to give). Scarlett Johansson has been married and divorced twice. Ryan Reynolds was her first husband and Romain Dauriac was her second. ScarJo is now dating SNL writer Colin Jost.

"I think the idea of marriage is beautiful," Scarlett has said, but being monogamous is "not natural to her."

Amazingly though, she and Colin Jost actually seem to be having a healthy relationship. "It's hard to have a lot of complaints...she's pretty awesome," Colin said. People also reports that they've both "met each others' families" and are "very much in love." *Alternative if cleavage unsafe*

1 Jennifer Aniston & John Mayer: Men Break Her Heart

Always a good start, never a good end, right? Jennifer Aniston is the original all-American sweetheart that we loved from day one. Guys come along (good looking ones, generally), they date or marry her, and she's left heartbroken after. It didn't work with Brad Pitt (thanks, Angelina). It didn't work with Justin Theroux.

Jen dated the notorious player John Mayer from 2008 to 2009. He blamed "different chemistry," while Jen blamed him for being "obsessed with Twitter." She just wasn't right for him. Now aged 49, we're waiting for Jen to find the right guy.

Hit share on Facebook–some of these couples are too mismatched to be ignored. This especially needs to go out to anyone you know in a relationship that keeps getting slapped with a #Mismatched.
