We applaud JLo's efforts in going for that '70s style with bold prints and chiffon material, but this outfit is just out of control. Maybe if this outfit was more of a solid color rather than loud psychedelic prints with clashing colors, she would have found herself in the "stunned" category rather than the "failed miserably." Mariah Carey has been in the news lately for bombing her performances. She has made millions with that eight-octave voice and that still doesn't make her any less talented. Back in the '90s when she was a young fox, she was always wearing a risque red velvet Santa suit that showed off her hourglass figure. In this pic that was taken 20 years later and when she was pregnant shows in her in a similar outfit. Mariah Carey must have forgotten the fact that she no longer has a 24-inch waist and doesn't have the body to be showing that much skin anymore. Though we shouldn't pick on women for gaining weight during pregnancy, we can still criticize bad choices for maternity wear. She could have done much better than this.

There is just something about Victoria's Secret angels that make them flawless even at the height of their pregnancy. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was captured at the perfect moment at the perfect angle. We have to wonder if she planned for this or was purposely posing for the camera. She is glowing with simple elegance wearing a form-fitting black dress with a slit up the side of the skirt for a little added sex appeal. Her pulled-back low bun and sunglasses put the attention on her figure with a minimalist approach that doesn't call for too many accessories. On an off note, her paisley scarf wrapped around her brown leather tote gives a pop of color to the otherwise neutral outfit. We give Rosie Huntington-Whiteley an A+ in maternity wear.
1 Failed Miserably: Snooki - Same Style As Jersey Shore From Before
Snooki from Jersey Shore is a living, walking, breathing fashion don't not only for maternity wear but for fashion in general. If you have ever watched that horrible excuse for an MTV show, the one good purpose it serves is to watch it, observe it and avoid any fashion that you see on it. That just doesn't go for Snooki, but the entire cast while we are at it. The lacey peasant top looks like it was rejected by Walmart and imported to the Jersey Shore because that is the only place where it would have been accepted. The one redeeming quality is maybe the black leggings, but that has become a fashion staple that literally everyone wears. Ok so maybe these are some harsh words, but if you want to get maternity wear right...just don't ever look at Snooki for inspiration.
