The collection launched at the end of last year and is quickly growing a reputation for being pretty damn amazing. Not only is it not tested on animals, but there's a strong variety of shades and products. Eyeshadow palettes, bronzers, BB creams, concealers, and foundations are just some of the bargains you can pick up in store. According to a statement made by development manager Lindsay Robertson, the company decided to launch this new venture to captivate the attention of on-the-run millennials. “The beauty industry has seen dramatic growth of cost-conscious cosmetics in the marketplace because Millennial women are looking for a variety of colors at affordable prices," said Lindsay. “They like to buy and try, and our goal when developing the Simply Me Beauty line was to create a line of makeup that had a quality look and feel without a high price barrier.”

With the ever-growing emphasis on how the beauty industry makes their products, more and more people are cutting animal products out of their lives entirely. According to livekindly.co, vegan beauty brand The Lip Bar is tripling the amount of products it has in Target stores to cope with the increasing demand. A number of celebrities have been championing the cause for years, including actress Alicia Silverstone, Ellen DeGeneres, and Olivia Wilde to name but a few.

The makeup industry rakes in an estimated $18 billion dollars globally every year. Retailers are catching on to the wave of conscious customers and adapting their lines to keep them buying. Hold on to your hats - there's sure to be more where this came from.
