It has been a full three decades since the start of the 90's, a fact that often surprises people. That does not mean we don't look back on the movies and TV shows from that era with fondness. And the stars we watched while growing up tend to take up a special place in our heart. They are a big part of your childhood after all. And that's why it can hurt more when someone who played a beloved character from your childhood does something disappointing. It's like something is tarnishing your own childhood innocence. The 90's spawned a lot of great kid movies and shows, so there was no shortage of stars during the decade. It's a numbers game, some of them were bound to get in trouble. It can be jarring when you see someone that you watched on TV grow up to be very different.
And there is the extra dimension of watching someone that you adored when they were young and innocent, with their whole lives in front of them, grow up and get into trouble. It's sad to see! Some of these actors fell into some really dark situations and managed to get themselves out and become respectable and successful adults. Some of them are still struggling with their demons to this day...and it should come as no surprise that child stars have a lot of troubles. A lot of puerile innocence has been basically sacrificed in Hollywood for the sake of entertainment.
Screech, aka Dustin Diamond, was on one of the most popular TV shows of the 90's, Saved By The Bell. It remains an icon in the history of television to this day. While the other stars have gone to live relatively quiet, but successful lives, Dustin Diamond will appear in the headlines once in a while for doing something crazy. Why don't we give you a rundown of some of the things he has gotten in trouble with the law and just some plain weird things he has done. He released an adult tape called Screeched - Saved By The Smell. Yea, sorry for ruining that show title for you forever. He also has been arrested for pulling a switchblade on someone in a parking lot and attacking them. This is not what we saw in the future for Screech; this to show it is hard to predict anything.
You may not peg LiLo as a child star, but that is exactly what she is. She has been acting since she was very little, and her role in The Parent Trap when she was 12-years-old was what propelled her to fame. The beloved children's classic came out in 1998. And she went on to have a steady and successful acting career, but she could not keep it together as she got further into her teen years. We have seen her struggle with substance abuse for years, ruin job opportunities because of it, and get arrested multiple times. She really had a severe fall from grace. It seems she is doing better than ever these days, and was able to leave some her demons behind in her wilder days. Who knows if she will ever be able to break into acting again and be as famous as she once was.
JoJo broke out on the scene with her hit, "Leave (Get Out)", and blew us all away. The singer was just 13 when she showed off her extensive vocal range. She reached number one on the US Billboard Pop songs chart when the song was released in 2004. And we thought amazing things would happen for the young singer, but the teen was soon riddled with label issues and filed a lawsuit to be released. She was finally released in 2014, and signed with Atlantic Records, but failed to score any major hits and left for Interscope. We are still waiting for that mega-hit we know she can produce. She was last seen on an episode of ‘Lethal Weapon’ in 2017.
Britney Spears truly grew up before our eyes. The pop princess turned icon made a name for herself in the early 2000’s while in her teens, but she was actually a child star before that. She starred in the revamped Mickey Mouse Club in the 90’s with future ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and Ryan Gosling.
After having extreme success with albums, Baby One More Time and Oops!... I Did It Again Britney had a few bumps in her career. She suffered a meltdown in 2007 after a failed marriage and child custody issues. But she has since recovered. Britney tried her hand at TV becoming a judge on the X Factor. In 2013 she signed on for a four-year residency in Las Vegas. She announced the show would end in 2018, but in a surprise move she signed on to continue in Vegas beginning 2019.
The Olsen twins were two of hardest working kids in the late 80's and 90's. They continued to act in the 00's, but eventually totally stopped. But we watched the sisters from the time they were literally babies, grow up on our screens. What girl was not obsessed with watching the Olsen twin movies in the 90's? And while Ashley seems to be the 'good' twin, Mary-Kate has had her fair share of troubles. From rumored eating disorders to substance abuse, she seems to have struggled more than her sister. While neither sister has gotten into legal trouble, they definitely have not stayed out of trouble completely. Especially Mary-Kate. There are multiple photos of the wild party girl that paint an interesting picture of the starlet. And yes, that is Spencer Pratt in the photo below, they went to high school together.
Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Aaron Carter. These were the big musical names back in the 90's. Aaron Carter had the world in his pocket, and girls could not get enough of the blonde singer. He was linked to the most popular actresses at the time, Hillary Duff and Lindsay Lohan. In fact, the ladies fought over the singer! It is hard to imagine anyone fighting over the erratic singer these days. When he is not going crazy on social media, he is talking about his mystery illness and his substance issues. As you can see above, time has not been kind to Aaron Carter. In the last year, he seemed to be going through a very public meltdown and even had a DUI arrest, after which he attacked his older brother Nick for not caring about him. We really hope Aaron is able to get healthy and be the superstar singer we know he was meant to be!
Every tween boy had a crush on Topanga when Boy Meets World was on. A lot of them probably still do! She was the perfect girl-next-door. Pretty and smart and drove the male lead wild. Can you imagine Topanga, the teacher's pet, and all around good girl getting a DUI? We can hear the school speech she would make against drinking and driving in our heads already. But Danielle Fishel is apparently really different from the girl she played on screen. Danielle has found herself on the wrong side of the law because of her drinking and driving. She ended up in a girl meets handcuffs situation. It was a crazy wild situation, but it did only happen once. But we all know that Topanga would never get behind the wheel of a car while she was intoxicated.
Mandy Moore was the sweet girl of pop, she even had the aptly named song, Candy back when she was still 14-year-old bubbly blonde. But with no major musical successes, the singer transitioned to acting, with roles in The Princess Diaries and A Walk To Remember.
Mandy kept pushing along in the movies business and has appeared in over a dozen movies, and she garnered her first major hit was with Disney’s Tangled in 2010, based on the story of Rapunzel. And while Mandy has stayed close to her musical roots releasing six albums, it's her recent acting chops as the Pearson mom of three, Rebecca, in This Is Us, that she has been received the most acclaim for. Mandy also debuted the now-defunct clothing line, Mblem in 2009 for taller girls before shuttering the brand in 2009.
Hilary Duff is another Disney graduate. The bubbly teen began her career as the star of Lizze McGuire, a shy teen looking for popularity. She even landed herself in the tabloids while dating fellow teen star Aaron Carter who may have also been dating Lindsay Lohan. Oh the drama.
Hilary went on to have success with music, one of her biggest hits ‘Come Clean’ (it was the theme song for Laguna Beach) and starred in movies like A Cinderella Story, Cheaper By The Dozen and Agent Cody Banks. But did you know that Hilary is also an author? She wrote New York Times bestseller, ‘Elixir.’ Hilary transitioned to more mature roles and in 2014 she landed a role in TV Land’s Younger. She has managed to come out unscathed as a child actress. She married Mike Comrie in 2010 before separating in 2014. They share one son, Luca.
Paris Hilton’s never had a simple life. The socialite grew up surrounded by luxury and rich parents. The heiress to the Hilton Hotel fortune, Paris’ went from sweet girl next door to a paparazzi starlet around her 18th birthday. Paris was a teen model, before becoming one of the ‘It’ girls of the early 2000’s. That’s when Paris jumped into the reality TV show, The Simple Life also starring socialite/best friend, Nicole Richie, catapulted her to the fame.
But it wasn't all roses for the bubbly blonde. Paris also hit a few bumps while transitioning to adulthood. She was arrested for a DUI, driving with a suspended license and speeding. Eventually, it caught up with her and she was forced to serve a short jail sentence. But Paris has grown from club princess to entrepreneur over the past decade. She has had enormous success with her fragrances line, which have made over a billion and she is one of the highest paid DJ’s. She’s newly engaged to actor Chris Zylka and most recently starred in a funny Yeezy campaign channeling her inner frenemy Kim Kardashian West.
Jessica Biel’s sweet persona on 7th Heaven only lasted so long before the bombshell wanted out. She went from the teenage daughter of a Pastor on 7th to starring in blockbuster movies action movies like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Blade: Trinity, Stealth, The A-Team and Total Recall. Jessica has steered clear of legal troubles and is a happily married woman. The beauty is married to another child actor/singer. It's the guy who’s played the Super Bowl halftime show this year---Justin Timberlake. They have one son, Silas, born in 2015. Biel’s latest work was her most mature and intense. The Sinner landed Jessica a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress – Miniseries or Television Film. She didn't win, but she’s on the path to a full comeback.
Jessica Alba knew how to kick butt as a supersoldier on Dark Angel, but the brunette beauty has grown up a lot since then. She matured and nabbed more adult roles in Sin City, Fantastic Four and Into the Blue. But did you know that Jessica was actually a child actress who once starred alongside a dolphin in the TV show, Flipper. But the married mother of three has put her acting career on the back burner for her mega home goods business, The Honest Company, once valued at $1 billion dollars. The company started off selling home goods and baby products before venturing into hair and makeup. We don’t think Jessica worries about acting too much anymore when she pulls in millions a year from her brand--she reportedly owns 15 to 20% of the company.
The Sandlot was one of the best movies of the 90's. Countless kids and adults loved it. It was set in the 1960's about a group of boys who liked playing baseball. It had that good ole'American feel and audiences loved it. It remains a cult classic to this day, still being quoted and scenes from it are turned into GIFS. And almost every boy who watched it fell in love with Wendy the lifeguard, as played by Marley Shelton. Who could forget her red bathing suit? Well, the dream girl found herself in a heap of trouble later on in her real life. She ended up getting arrested a couple years go for driving under the influence. She plead guilty to the charge and got a pretty good plea deal for. She seems to be doing much better these days, or at least not getting into that kind of trouble anymore.
While Drake Bell did not go off the rails as much as Amanda did, he has definitely found himself in hot water since The Amanda Show was on the air. Not only does he act the fool on social media quite often, he has gotten into some real-life legal trouble that even found him facing jail time. In 2009 he was busted for his very first DUI in San Francisco, and then followed that one up with another one in 2015. The second DUI arrest had him spend 4 days in jail. That hopefully taught him a lesson! Other than embarrassing himself on Twitter these days, he seems to be staying out of trouble for the most part. It would be nice for him to get some acting work soon!
Miley Cyrus’ is another Disney star who dropped Mickey Mouse (Disney) as soon as she could. We watched Miley grow as Hannah Montana, a singer who lived a double life as an average schoolgirl and a superstar singer and the show was enormous. The Hannah Montana machine had a TV series, movies, music, and tours. Miley couldn’t walk down the street without being hounded. But before you knew it Miley had outgrown her Disney person. The teen ventured into pop music showing off her singing skills with hits like, "Party in the U.S.A..” But Miley was tired of her good girl image and ditched Hannah Montana in 2011. She dipped her toes in acting and met Hunger Games actor, Liam Hemsworth. They had a high profile romance and the duo was even engaged before the couple split. Miley released more mature music like "Wrecking Ball" and "We Can't Stop". It was rumored that Miley’s wild ways (all that twerking) were to blame for the split. Miley has since rekindled her relationship with Liam and wrote 'Malibu' all about him and is a judge on The Voice.
Alexis Bledel popped on the screen as the smart-talking high schooler on Gilmore Girls alongside TV mom, Lauren Graham. We watched as she went all the way to college before the show was canceled. The show recently made a limited revival in 2016 after fans begged for a continuation. Alexis also has success with her The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies, which also starred Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera, and Blake Lively, in which four best friends all share one pair of jeans that they can all miraculously fit into. We haven’t seen a lot of Alexis now that she is now married with a child. But she’s on the rise again with her acclaimed portrayal in The Handmaids Tale on Hulu. She’s still friends with all her Sisterhood of the Traveling pants pals.
Mila Kunis married her first on-screen kiss. Yes, Mila Kunis’ first kiss was with her That 70’s Show co-star, Ashton Kutcher, when she was just a young teen. Do you remember self-centered Jackie and ditzy Kelso on the show? Well, those two are married now with two kids. Mila moved to the US from the USSR as a child and didn’t know any English, She turned to acting to give her confidence and has found success on the big screen with movies like, Black Swan, Friends with Benefits, Ted, and Bad Moms, but she has another job that you might not realize, she has voiced Meg Griffin on the Family Guy since 1999. She took over for Lacey Chabert after a casting change. Mila dated Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin for almost a decade before splitting in 2011. She began dating Ashton in 2012.
Rihanna was once a Good Girl, but hey she still is. The fresh-faced singer landed her first hit with Pon De Replay, but it wasn’t until she chopped off her hair and dropped the song, Umbrella that people took notice of the Bajan beauty. And she’s been making hits ever since, can you say We Found Love and she’s even has dabbled in movies, but Rihanna is often praised for her fearless fashion and constantly changing look. And her fans are crazy for her. She’s dubbed them her Navy or RihannaNavy. Rihanna had a little boy trouble a few years ago, mainly Chris Brown, but she bounced back with romances with Travis Scott, Matt Kemp, and Drake. She’s now linked to businessman, Hassan Jameel and taking over the beauty game with Fenty Beauty. And her Puma collection is always on fire.
Shia has grown into an interesting man to say the least. Some people would just call him an eccentric artist that is deeply invested in his work, and other people would say that he is a perfect example of someone who needs some serious anger management. There is no reason he can't be both! We watched Shia grow up from the awkward hilarious tween into a serious actor, something no one was really expecting from the guy who played in Even Stevens. He has made headlines a number of times for the altercations he gets into in public. When he was 20 he got arrested for trying to attack his neighbor, yea. The arrest that followed was because he would not leave Walgreens in Chicago. And who can forget when he went crazy during a performance of Cabaret in New York. And most recently, he was arrested for public intoxication. Get it together Shia.
Full House had a very successful run as a TV show, which is why Netflix brought the cult classic back! A couple of the actors on the show would, unfortunately, go on to getting into some trouble after the show ended the first time. Jodie Sweetin played middle sister Stephanie. She was adorable and hilarious. When the show ended the first time, acting took a backseat in Jodi's life and she started to get into trouble. She ran into a number of issues with various substances. She has totally cleaned up since then and has reprised her role on the Full House spin-off, Fuller House on Netflix. She has had some troubles with her last fiancee, and it has played out in the public eye with Jodie having to get a restraining order against him. We hope that things have totally turned around for her by now.
Alicia Keys blew up on the scene from the moment she uttered the lyrics, “I Keep On Fallin’” and has been making hits since. In her first year on the scene, she nabbed 5 Grammys in 2002 for her album, Songs In A Minor. She is an accomplished pianist and usually incorporates the piano in most of her songs. The Girl on Fire married producer, Swizz Beatz in 2010. They have two sons together, Egypt and Genesis. Alicia can now be seen battling it out with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on The Voice when she is not working on her philanthropic work like her Keep A Child Alive foundation which helps give medicine to families affected by HIV and AIDS. Alicia has been pushing the #NoMakeup movement to get people to feel good in their own skin after battling her own insecurities.
Justin Timberlake once had huge curly hair. Do you remember that? Justin grew from boy to man right in front of our eyes. He also starred in The New Mickey Mouse Club with Britney Spears and he was later one-fifth of the boy band, *NSYNC. After breaking away from a bad recording contract, the singer left behind his boys for a huge solo career. One of Justin’s biggest hits, "Cry Me a River" was reportedly about his split from high profile singer, Britney Spears. He went on to have huge hits like, "My Love", and "What Goes Around... Comes Around” and like almost everyone else on this list Justin has a few acting credits under his belt, The Social Network, Bad Teacher, and Friends with Benefits. He’s now married to Jessica Biel and shares one son, Silas. But he’s been in the news lately. He released his new album, Man of the Woods in February 2018 and performed at the Superbowl this year. The reviews were mixed.
Dakota Fanning was tiny when she had her breakout role in I Am Sam at just age 7, opposite Sean Penn and she utilized her innocence again to snatch up another role this time with Denzel Washington in Man on Fire. She was on a roll when she landed another high profile gig with Tom Cruise for War of the Worlds, all by the time she was 10. Dakota has since gone on to mature right before our eyes with roles in The Twilight Saga and a slew of indie flicks. But she’ll be switching it up as she heads to the small screen with a new show, The Alienist, a late 1800’s detective mystery series. Dakota has a little sister who is also an actress, Elle who has garnered attention on her own. She is currently the spokeswoman for L’Oreal’s Lash Paradise mascara.
Cole Sprouse is one-half of the Sprouse twins. Due to labor laws in Hollywood, some roles have to be cast with twins-- and The Sprouse twins fit right in. Cole reportedly landed his first solo part as Ross Gellar’s adorable son, Ben on Friends. It wasn’t long before the boys were working together again this time for the Disney show, The Suite Life of Zac and Cody. The boys decided to leave acting behind temporarily for college, both attended NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, beginning in 2011. They graduated in 2015. Cole resurrected his acting career with his new show Riverdale, where he plays a broody Jughead Jones, a dark spinoff of the Archie comic books.
You may have not even realized that actor Cuba Gooding Jr has a younger brother who is also working in Hollywood, Omar Gooding Jr. Omar was a fan favorite on the popular show Smart Guy with Tahj Mowry. He played T.J. and Marcus's best friend Mo. The gentle giant who did not have a lot going on upstairs, he was a strong comedic voice on the show. In 2013 he got arrested for, you guessed it, driving under the influence. It almost seems like a mandatory staple to have DUI for a celebrity. What we don't understand, is they all have a lot more money than the rest of us. How hard is it to Uber or take a cab? Heck, they probably have their own drivers! Truly an unforgivable crime, especially with the resources that they have available to them.
Beetlejuice remains a cult favorite today, and it propelled a young Winona Ryder to stardom when she played the role of angsty teen Lydia. Winona to this day is a beloved icon of Hollywood even though she really took a break from the spotlight for a couple of years. She is back stronger than ever with her role in the massive Netflix hit series, Strangers Things. Winona has always been an interesting person, and when she got arrested for shoplifting at Saks Fifth Avenue this just compounded that fact. Why would a rich and successful movie star ever shoplift? She has opened up about it and says the arrest ultimately saved her, and we are happy it did because it means we get Winona back on the small screen.
Amanda Bynes was not only a darling of the 90's, but also in the years after that. She seemed different from the other leading actress of the time, your Hillary Duffs, and Lindsay Lohans. She was quirky and hilarious, and definitely not the girl next door type. Just a total goofball. She did get her start in sketch comedy after all! When she got older and she had a slew of roles under her belt, things took a depressing turn. She was behaving erratically in public and on social media, so much so that people were really worried about the starlet and her mental health. During this period she was also arrested for a DUI. She did not have a full on public mental breakdown, but some may argue that she did. She seems to be in a much better place now, and she has taken a much-needed break from the spotlight and Hollywood. You know things are not going well when you show up to your court date with your wig looking like that.
Macaulay Culkin was not only one of the most successful child actors of all time, but one of the most successful actors in general. And then it seemed he lost it all before he even reached adulthood. We have to assume that there was other stuff going on too, but nothing confirmed. In 2004 Macaulay was arrested for possession, and then he seemingly fell off the face of the earth. To be fair, he acted a lot as a kid and he was probably sick of it. He was dealing with his own demons obviously because when he would surface he would not be looking good. He seems to have overcome a lot of his issues though, and he is back in the public eye a lot more than he was a few years ago. He also has done some acting here and there, but here is hoping that we get to see him on the big screen again soon!
If you were a tween girl between years 2000-2005 you were definitely watching Lizzie and her friends. It was wholesome and sweet, everything parents would want their impressionable kids to be watching. And there was Lizzie's cartoon conscience to bring the laughs and who can forget the chorus to the show. It was great! No one could have expected that LaLaine, who played Lizzie's best friend Miranda Sanchez would go on to end up getting arrested for some pretty hard illegal substances. Yup, she went hard. There is not much about her life after the show. Minus her scuffle with the law and the role she had in Easy A. LaLaine has managed to stay off the radar. There is nothing wrong with partying, but stay away from illegal substances kids!
Anneliese Van-Der-Pol played one of Raven's two closest friends on That's So Raven. She was the goofy pretty sidekick who compliments Raven perfectly. She has acted since the show went off the air, but nothing that really put her in the spotlight or got her a lot of attention. She definitely does not have the same star power as her co-star Raven Symone. Well, what did get her attention, was when she got arrested for a DUI back in 2007. She had an extremely high blood-alcohol level and pled no contest. And we have to ask again, what is with these actors and DUI's? Why is it so prevalent? We digress, Anneliese has stayed out of trouble after that, and she never really got into any before it so her public image is still pretty clean. She has reprised her role as Chelsea on the current That's So Raven reboot!
All of us have quoted Haley's infamous line in The Sixth Sense, even if you haven't seen the movie. 'I see dead people' was one of the most iconic lines from cinema when the movie came out, and it remains to this day. People immediately know what movie you are talking about when they hear it. Haley was in a number of hit movies in the early 90's, including Pay It Forward with Helen Hunt and Jon Bon Jovi. The cute kid grew up into another actor that would get a DUI, and he did the customary repatriations of paying fines, being put on probation, and having to take drug and alcohol education classes. Haley keeps a relatively low profile these days, acting here and there but at least there are no DUI's.
Both of Raven's best friends on the show have gotten into trouble since their show went off the air. But Anneliese at least seems to have gotten it together. And that is why she was invited back to the That's So Raven reboot and Orlando Brown was not. He has been arrested multiple times, and the charges include illegal substance possession, resisting a police officer, and of course the obligatory DUI. He spent 27 days in jail because of the DUI. It seems like he just can't keep from getting into trouble, which is surprising for those of us that watched him on That's So Raven. He just did not seem like a troublemaker, even though he was playing a character. Clean up your life Orlando Brown so we can see you back on-screen with your best girls!
Back in the day, Zachery Ty Bryan played the oldest son, Brad Taylor in Home Improvement, but now, he is all grown up, married and with kids! He met Carly Matros in the fifth grade at La Canada Junior High School.
These two were engaged in 2005, married in 2007, and began welcoming kids into the world soon after that; they have twin daughters, Gemma and Taylor, who were born in 2014, and another daughter, Jordana, who was born in 2016. Plus, according to Daily Mail, the actor announced that a boy is coming soon, as he and his wife are expecting a fourth child!
Melissa Joan Hart starred in Sabrina The Teenage Witch as well as in Clarissa Explains It All. While she has continued to act ((like in Lifetime and Hallmark films, as well as in series such as Dancing With the Stars, Melissa & Joey, and the upcoming No Good Nick), she also became a married woman!
In 2003, she married musician Mark Wilkerson and details from their wedding were seen by fans in a TV miniseries called Tying the Knot, brought about by Hart's production company, Hartbreak Films. This couple also has three sons, who were born in 2006, 2008, and 2012.
That picture has quite the interesting juxtaposition. Brian Bonsall was the adorable boy in the popular 90's movie Blank Check and TV show Family Ties. He also has gotten arrested for some very dark stuff, including hurting his girlfriend. And he has been arrested way more than once. That is much worse than a DUI. Well, worse than a DUI that does not hurt anyone that is. He has also been arrested for illegal substances. He quit acting all the way back in 1995 and became a musician, so he actually had a very brief but successful career. He is still doing that today, and in 2016 he even toured with the band The Ataris. He seems to have stayed out of trouble, and in 2017 he got married to a lady named Courtney Tuck.
The Amanda Show is far from the only show to have two of its cast members go on to be arrested. Smart Guy is a part of that lucky club as well! We told you about Omar Gooding Jr's arrest. Well, it turns out Jason Weaver, who played the big brother and Omar's best friend was also arrested. You probably thought it was for a DUI, well not so. He was actually arrested for going number 2 on someone's lawn in Atlanta, Georgia. An officer spotted him in the act and promptly arrested him. He gets points for getting arrested for something other than a DUI, but this is also just plain weird. But sometimes, when you gotta go you gotta go. He has managed to not fertilize anyone else's lawn since then.
Back in the day, the Disney channel was pumping out amazing movies. They were all made for TV and kids could not get enough of them. They were just tapping into the right stuff. One of these movies was Zenon: Girl Of The 21st Century. It was a very popular futuristic movie starring Kirsten Storms who went on to have a regular acting career in the soap opera world. Cops noticed her when she threw a lit cigarette out her car window, which is littering. They pulled her over and had her do some field sobriety tests which she promptly failed. She did not have to face jail time, but she was ordered to go to 12 AA meetings, on probation for a year, and had hefty fines to pay. She has stayed under the radar since then.
Kyla Pratt was the adorably cute little girl from the tv show One on One, but she won our hearts on as the precocious little Monica on in the movie, Love and Basketball and as the daughter in the Dr. Doolittle movies. Kyla starred as the sassy smart talking teen on One on One, about a single dad who has to raise his daughter when her mother lands a job overseas. Kyla made a ton of appearances on shows like Friends, Smart Guy, Sister, Sister, Family Matters, Lizzie McGuire, Moesha, and The Parkers. Kyla’s been laying low on the acting scene since becoming a mommy. She has two daughters, Lyric born in 2010 and Liyah Kirkpatrick, born in 2013. Kyla was most recently seen in TV shows, Let's Stay Together and Recovery Road.
Shad Moss wasn’t always Shad. He used to go by Lil Bow Wow. The rapper got a recording contract in 2000 at just 13. He started rapping at the age of six and soon got the attention of rapper Snoop Dog during a concert, who went on to name him Lil Bow Wow. He later changed his moniker to Bow Wow. "I changed my name because I'm getting older now and it's too many Lil's. All these Lil' rappers, I'm just kind of getting real irritated by it. I said, 'You know what? Drop the Lil'. Forget it. I'm Bow Wow. Besides, I'm growing up, I'm not little anymore. I just decided that] two weeks ago. I really got irritable. It's all these Lil' cats, forget it. I'm Bow Wow now. Everything is just 'Bow Wow,' no 'Lil' Bow Wow,'" he told MTVNews at the time. He’s also an actor and was the lead in Like Mike when he was a teen and also starred in Lottery Ticket and Roll Bounce. He was also seen on CSI: Cyber until the show was canceled in 2016 and worked as a host on BET’s 106 & Park.
The cast of Harry Potter were literally babies when they appeared in the first movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint grew up in front of our eyes and with eight Harry Potter movies under their belts we saw every move. The kids have seen success since their blockbuster franchise. Most notably Emma who was cast as Belle in the live action Disney film, Beauty and the Beast. The movie was a hit making it one of the highest-grossing film of 2017. She’s also modeled for Burberry and Lancome and graduated from Brown University in 2014.
Daniel worked on the TV shows, Robot Chicken and Miracle Workers and landed a few Broadway shows, Equus, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, while Rupert stuck with TV and appeared on the shows, Snatch and Sick Note.
