Most of us absolutely love hearing all about celebrities' love lives. We enjoy hearing about who is dating who, who broke up, who is having some kind of relationship scandal, and every other little detail. And successful relationships are just as exciting—fans love finding celebrity couples who are total #relationshipgoals.

However, Hollywood isn't always the easiest place to find love. That means there are many, many celebrities who are perpetual bachelors. Sure, they may have had a few relationships over the years. They may go on dates on a regular basis. But there just isn't someone special in their lives.

For some, it's because they want to focus on their work and don't really feel they have time in their lives for a relationship. A grueling shooting schedule, or a shooting schedule that takes them out of town for months on end, can definitely have an impact. For some, they just don't want to be in a relationship—they're enjoying playing the field and having fun.

Recently, one of Hollywood's most notorious bachelors, George Clooney, found his special someone, his wife Amal. Many assumed he would never take that walk down the aisle, but he did.

So, while we feel like these 20 celebrities are destined to be bachelors forever, who knows—perhaps they'll prove us wrong.

20 Captain Cutie Chris Evans

It is absolutely crazy to think that Chris Evans is still single because he is such a major catch. First of all, on a superficial level, he's absolutely gorgeous. I mean, who wouldn't want to date Captain America? Then, there's the fact that he's a huge animal lover. He's also up to date on current events and isn't afraid to speak his mind and stand up for what he believes in.

There are so many great things about him that we're really curious about why some lucky actress hasn't scooped him up yet. Although we have to admit, we'll be a little sad if he ever actually gets off the market.

19 Heroic Hunk Henry Cavill

Clark Kent may have had Lois Lane as his partner in crime, but actor Henry Cavill doesn't have a leading lady in his life—and hasn't for quite a while. Cavill gained international notoriety when he played the comic book hero Superman, although he's been in many other projects over the years.

He's a big animal lover and has a wonderful sense of humour. Plus, while you may not know it from seeing him playing US-typecast characters, he has a totally dreamy accent. We're not quite sure why he's single, because he's a total dreamboat. Seriously, we're hoping he never gives up acting—we'd miss seeing him on screen!

18 Son Of A Legend Scott Eastwood

If Scott Eastwood's name seems familiar, that's because he has some serious Hollywood connections. Though you might not guess at first given their age difference, he's actually the very youngest son of legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood. Scott followed in his father's footsteps and started in the entertainment industry in his 20s and he's been achieving a lot of success over the years.

He's had some setbacks in his personal life and over the past few years really hasn't been connected with anyone. Perhaps he plans to play the field a little bit more before settling down—we can't say we blame him!

17 Not-So-High-School Zac Efron

Zac Efron is basically the definition of a glow up. He got his start in the industry when he was just a teen, playing a dreamy basketball player in the High School Musical franchise. While many struggle to make the transition from Disney star to movie star, he did so with ease and has been active in the industry for well over a decade now.

He's passionate about fitness and has an insane physique, he's creative, he's got amazing eyes, and he seems to be settling into his life and putting his party days behind him. The question is, why is he still on the market?

16 Humble Hit-Maker Michael B. Jordan

To say that Michael B. Jordan is slaying it right now would be an understatement. He came out of the gate in Hollywood strong with the poignant film Fruitvale Station and has since been in hits like Creed and Black Panther. He's totally dreamy, he's super talented, and as is constantly proven in his interviews, he's just a genuinely nice guy.

He doesn't seem to have let his success go to his head and is just as humble now as when he was starting out. Though women around the world swoon over him on the regular, he hasn't really dated anyone—at least, not that the public knows about.

15 Marvel's Main Man Tom Hiddleston

Though he's an A-List movie star with countless roles in the Marvel universe, Tom Hiddleston has managed to keep his love life out of the tabloids—for the most part. Sure, he got plenty of attention when he briefly dated Taylor Swift—but that's the exception rather than the rule.

Despite being really down to earth and super handsome, Hiddleston has kept his relationships out of the public eye whenever possible. He seems like the type who commits wholeheartedly. So, we have a feeling that when he finally meets the perfect girl, he'll move from bachelor to husband in record time. The question is, when will he finally meet her?

14 Superstar Crooner Shawn Mendes

Shawn Mendes' rise to superstardom is kind of crazy. He earned a huge fan base on Vine back when he was just a teen and soon had a record deal. Now, he's a legitimate pop star with an international following—and he's just 20 years old! Many pop stars in his situation started dating every celebrity in sight—but that wasn't really his style.

Despite being gorgeous and talented, Mendes has managed to stay humble and keeps things pretty low key. He's not the type to show off his relationship to the tabloids—so, even when he does start dating someone, the public probably won't find out for a long time.

13 Recently Bach'd Jon Hamm

As a man, Don Draper was definitely problematic—however, there was something about Jon Hamm's portrayal of the ad man that made countless people swoon. He just had a certain swagger, a certain degree of charm, that totally worked. Hamm is a bit unique in the world of Hollywood in that he's only a recent bachelor. He dated actress Jennifer Westfeldt for nearly 20 years before the two split in 2015.

Since then, Hamm has been living the bachelor life. We're not sure which lucky lady will convince him to return to the land of committed relationships, but we're sure plenty of women are hoping they're the one!

12 Bad Boy Turned Cowboy Taylor Kitsch

Many of us fell in love with Taylor Kitsch when he played the Southern bad boy Tim Riggins on the show Friday Night Lights. Since then, he's been working steadily in Hollywood, getting movie roles and walking red carpets. Although, he fell so in love with the south when filming Friday Night Lights that he ended up buying a chunk of land and building a house in Austin, Texas—so he could show you some real Southern hospitality!

Despite being in the industry for over a decade, and being totally dreamy, not much has been said about his personal life over the years. He seems to be a perpetual bachelor, and totally fine with not changing that.

11 The Ultimate Over-Sharer John Mayer

John Mayer has been in the industry for quite a while now, releasing chart-topping hits and stunning fans with his smooth, crooning voice. He's also well-known for being kind of a serial dater—and unafraid to talk about his relationships to the public.

Unlike other bachelors who never really reveal much about their personal lives, Mayer has no problem adding his two cents in about his flopped relationships—which many of the women he used to date don't exactly love. I mean, why would you want someone to spill the intimate details of your time together? We have a feeling that's one of the main reasons that he's still a bachelor after all these years.

10 Overnight Star John Boyega

John Boyega seemed to have come out of nowhere. One day, no one knew who he was, and the next day, he was a major force in Hollywood thanks to his role in the Star Wars movies. He seems really sweet and humble, and his roots will likely keep him grounded no matter how successful he gets in Hollywood.

Despite all his success, he appears to be the kind of guy that values family and the people in his life over fame—which sounds like perfect boyfriend material. He's been busy handling his thriving professional life and has been living the bachelor life the past few years, and with how things are going for him, that might not change anytime soon.

9 New Daddy Drake

Drake's love life has been the subject of a ton of speculation. Everyone is always wondering who inspired his love songs, and of course, his rumoured relationship with Rhianna has had people buzzing for years now. He's clearly passionate about what he does and super talented—that voice is amazing.

However, he's also a new dad, so he's probably got his hands pretty full for the next little bit as he adjusts to that change in his life. He's always been the type to keep his love life on the down low, and we're not sure that will ever change. Perhaps one day a woman will make him change his ways—or, perhaps he'll just be a bachelor forever.

8 Longtime Bachelor Lenny Kravitz

Lenny Kravitz' most well-known relationship is probably his marriage to Lisa Bonet back in the '90s. The two of them were married for a few years and had a gorgeous daughter, Zoe Kravitz. However, ever since they split, Kravitz has been a bachelor. He's been linked with a few celebrities in the tabloids, yes, but he's never really had a serious relationship since then.

We're not sure if it's because he was focused on his daughter or his music or he simply didn't have room in his life for a serious partner. He's in his 50s now, though, so it'll be interesting to see if his bachelor lifestyle extends into his older years or if he settles down with someone.

7 On-And-Off The Market Jake Gyllenhaal

Jake Gyllenhaal has dated his fair share of famous ladies over the years, from Minka Kelly to Natalie Portman to Taylor Swift and Reese Witherspoon. For some reason, none of his relationships have worked out, and while he's had a ton of success in his work, his love life hasn't been as great.

We're not sure if that's because the relationships just aren't working out, or if Gyllenhaal himself is hesitant to make a big commitment and move to that next level in a relationship. Either way, it's interesting to see the variety of women he's dated over the years, and we can't wait to see if there's one who makes him give up being a bachelor for good.

6 Ultra Private Alexander Skarsgard

Countless women around the world are utterly obsessed with actor Alexander Skarsgard. There's just something about him—that physique, that face, the way he speaks English with a charming accent. He had one serious relationship a few years back with influencer Alexa Chung, but the two split in 2017 and he's been single ever since.

However, Skarsgard has always been very, very private about his personal life—something he learned from his father, who was also an actor. Even when he and Chung were dating, they never shared any cute shots together on IG or anything like that. He seems content with the travelling bachelor lifestyle for now, but who knows—maybe finding the right woman will change that.

5 Twice-Divorced Antonio Banderas

It's one thing to be a bachelor throughout your 20s—we imagine it's a totally different situation to be a bachelor after being married for decades. Antonio Banderas spent the majority of the past few decades in serious relationships. He was married to his ex Ana Leza for nearly a decade, from 1987 to 1996, and then to actress Melanie Griffith from 1996 to 2015.

That's right—he's been married, albeit to different women, for the majority of his adult life. So, it must be a totally different world for him to be living the bachelor life now. He doesn't seem keen to rush into marriage as he did in previous years, so we have a feeling he'll just enjoy bachelorhood for a few more years.

4 Low-Key Actor Djimon Hounsou

It's kind of tough to believe that Djimon Hounsou is in his 50s, but he is—he's actually 54 years old! He got his start in the industry back in the '90s but didn't really begin getting major roles until the '00s. Since then, he's been working steadily in Hollywood, playing a wide variety of roles.

His personal life has been pretty low drama since he rose to fame. He started dating Kimora Lee Simmons in 2007, and though they were never actually married, they were together and committed to one another until they split in 2012. Since then, Hounsou hasn't really been linked with any other women in the press.

3 Ultimate Ladies' Man Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves is definitely what we'd call a perpetual bachelor. The actor has been in the industry for decades now and has dated his fair share of gorgeous celebrity women. He's always been very private about his relationships, though, and nothing has ever gotten super serious.

While he very well could find his perfect match and get married, based on his history, it seems likely that he'll just remain a perpetual bachelor. He enjoys dating and certainly won't be lonely, but we're not sure he'd ever take that next step and actually walk down the aisle with someone. It just doesn't seem like his style.

2 Experienced Bachelor Leonardo DiCaprio

There was a time when George Clooney was the most notorious bachelor in Hollywood. Nowadays, it seems that Clooney's pal Leonardo DiCaprio has taken that role from him. DiCaprio's love life is often the focus of jokes, as he's a notorious bachelor with a penchant for absolutely stunning women. He's dated a ton of models and actresses over the years, but never really seems to stay in relationships for more than a few months at a time.

Lately, he's been focused on his acting roles and his work as an environmental activist. We think he'll be a bachelor forever, but who knows—Clooney found the right woman eventually, so perhaps Leo will one day as well!

1 Swoon-Worthy Gerard Butler

The best way we can describe Gerard Butler is mischievous. There's just something about the actor that makes it seem like he'd be an absolute blast to hang out with. And, that accent could definitely make any woman swoon! He's been the subject of many tabloid stories over the years, but not many of them have been about his love life—because that's always remained pretty low key.

While he keeps busy with his acting roles and various charitable endeavours, he's a perpetual bachelor who has never been seriously linked with any women. We have a feeling he likes playing the field, hopping between Scotland and Los Angeles whenever he feels like it.
