Kesha's no stranger to colorful hair, but now it's bolder and brighter and more fun than ever before. (May we point out that she smartly placed the rosy-pink pieces in front to complement her complexion? Take note, pastel-hued girls!)" We love this look on Kesha! Even though her hair is a totally unnatural color, it actually looks so naturally beautiful on her; we're not sure if it's the minimal makeup or the fact that her personality is so colorful too, but Kesha certainly looks totally herself with her pastel hairdo! According to InStyle, Gaga rocked this look back in 2010, wearing what we think is probably a wig to the Grammy's that year in LA. Gaga has toned down her look in the last decade, and we're thinking used a lot of toner in her hair too. She now rocks blonde hair, for the most part, and keeps the outfits a little simpler too. According to People, the star said this about her evolving style over the years, "To be frank, I would just prefer to go through this album cycle and talk about my music...That'd be great. It becomes about everything else, and that was what I [once] wanted. But if I wear a black t-shirt and black pants every day, [people] might listen to what I write. Kylie Jenner has gone blue more than once. Last month, the star took to Instagram to post a "denim blue" wig that she wore for Coachella, but today we're looking at one of her first moments with blue hair, her blue ombre from 2014. E! News spoke to Kylie's stylist and reported this about the star's blue hue, "According to Andy Lecompte Salon colorist Daniel Moon, the man behind Kylie Jenner's latest blue 'do: 'Punk is the new pretty and pretty is the new punk.' Which explains why the E! star opted for the cerulean tint when she visited him earlier this week. Moon says Kylie was 'asking for either a green or blue color. I created a custom green and blue palette she liked using Pravana Vivids hair color.' She 'made my job easy,' he added. 'She came in asking for blue or green hair and was very aware of the effect the chosen shade would have on her skin tone, and how it would fade. I recommended using more than one color to add dimension and she agreed.'" We love this look on Kylie and E! goes on to explain that Kylie was actually playing with chalk in her hair before this color moment! Bella Throne, known for her roles in Big Love, Famous in Love, and Shake It Up, has rocked a lot of unicorn-inspired hair. Most recently, the star has been sporting a red, pink, orange color melt that she wore to Coachella, but the star usually wears her hair in a strawberry blonde color. We're loving this look on Hilary Duff, aka Lizzie McGuire. This multi-dimensional blue color is giving us all the Cinderella feels and we think Hilary should only wear pastel hues. She's tried pink, blue, and silver inspired too, and this girl just can't do any wrong in our books. According to Glamour, Duff said this about her new hair, "It takes a while to get used to. My makeup has to be different, colors that I wear have to change a little bit." Today, we're looking at a few colors Perry has tried, the first being this pretty purple. Perry's looks are hot and never cold, which is why we love this pastel-loving California girl and all the variations of purple she's worn. Katy opened up to Glamour about her identity as a celebrity saying this, "I'm Katy Perry onstage. At home, I'm Katheryn Hudson. I've created this cartoon look when performing, but offstage I don't always have three hours to put it together." She then said this about her hair, "I'm naturally the most boring dishwater squirrel brown. So I've been playing with colors since I was 15. I loved the grunge green, and shocking blue was fun. Colored hair is such a huge accessory that you don't even need to add extra stuff." Does it represent a part of the rainbow that seemingly the only other celeb to try was Lady Gaga? Yes, but this shade just seems hard to pull off if you ask us! This yellow-orange look, paired with this all black dress is giving some serious sunflower feels. Ellie told BT this about the unusual look, "I actually really loved this [color]. I remember when I was getting ready for the MTV European Music Award and I had my blow dry, I felt really sexy. I knew it would cause a bit of attention and couldn't wait to wear it on the red carpet." Her look certainly did get some attention, as the color really doesn't have much history on the red carpet, or at all! She is our unicorn spirit animal. Katy has done a couple of blue looks, this bold bang bob, a pin-up inspired long wave with short forehead bangs and even a washed out teal look! Katy's colorist opened up to Pop Crush about the color change and said this, "Katy wanted to go this particular color blue for a few weeks now. It didn't take long to transition to this color as we have been working together previously. We have a great relationship - Katy is the ideal client because she loves to be creative and unpredictable with her look." We can't imagine how much fun it must be when Katy decides on a new unicorn-inspired shade and how much work must go into to, Katy knows her hair has been damaged in the process; Pop Crush reports the star said, "I'll probably have to shave my head one day because of all of it. This color is very mint chocolate chip meets Green Lantern and we're not sure how to feel about it. Lena generally doesn't wear too much makeup, which seems to be a staple to rocking the non-traditional hair colors. According to Us Weekly Magazine, the star said this about her beauty routine, "I feel prettier with a naked face and ChapStick. But a good haircut makes a huge difference." This young star has tried blue, pink, and this very cool dip dye look too. This look is very highlighter chic and we love the neon vibe. She captioned an Instagram of the pretty, playful 'do "Playing with exposure," but we're thinking she should have captioned it "Playing with color!" Mom, Reese Witherspoon, opened up to Romper to gush about how cool and creative her daughter is; she said this, "She's so much cooler than I am! Okay, so this one is obviously a wig, and arguably not a very good one, but still, we're loving that Miley gave the rainbow hair trend a try, especially after singing about "Rainbowland" on her album Younger Now. According to AZLyrics, the song goes, "Living in a Rainbowland/The skies are blue and things are grand/Wouldn't it be nice to live in paradise/Where we're free to be exactly who we are." Miley is exactly who she is in this wild rainbow wig and not only are the skies blue but her hair too! According to Refinery 29, Miley said this about her ever-evolving style, "For chicks, you've gotta look a certain way all the time, and I just don't wanna do that." Miley's look has certainly changed over the years; she seems happiest now, rocking a boho, beach look, complete with denim and a lot of printed tops and dresses. Although we like her more natural vibe, we're kind of wishing she would try the rainbow trend for real!
