Not only does she have a certain furry quality about her, but it’s just too casual for any accessory to offset. Balance is the key in many of her outfits, which is why this one looks so off-kilter. Onesies are good for movie nights and sleepovers. Not for rocking on the red carpet. Even the highest black platform heels couldn’t elevate this look.

This look is a total mood. We actually could definitely get behind it as a style choice if she was wearing it out and about. The boots are a little too casual for the event in that light tan color, and the jacket makes them look chunkier than they are.

We wouldn’t dare go outside without rocking at least a pair of cycling shorts. She’s got her style down pat, though, and knows that it is possible to mix casual and classy. What else is on the list of things we wish we could rock? This short skirt style, which was popular with her back when she was first starting out. While we’ve noticed her shifting more towards the casual outwear as she’s gotten older, initially she had embraced the short skater skirts as a pants alternative. It’s definitely a good choice for her, as she’s got amazing legs that she clearly is confident in showing off. Us? Not so much. We’ll take those Kim K stretchy skirts over this style any day. Fashion icon status, truly, especially when looked at in contrast to her mini skirt styles. She pulls both extremes off so well.

We swear that this is the last one we’ll gush about. We’ve just never been able to figure out how to wear an accent jacket. How does one pull it off? Do we just throw it on overtop, or is there more to the styling game than that? This light purple jacket is not only a trending color, but it’s also a great contrast to the slick black style that the rest of her outfit features. And can we just admire those shoes for a second?
13 This Denim Look Isn't As Awesome As Others We've Seen
Honestly, overalls can look cute. However, they have to be styled right. We think that overalls look best when they’re still tailored to a person’s form, and don’t sink too far below the natural waist. We’d also like to point out that dark wash overalls are generally more appealing to us than light wash ones, as darker washes tend to be slimming. This set of overalls doesn’t flatter Ariana Grande, much to our dismay. While the look could be cute, it just hides too much of her.

Hair is also an important part of personal style. While some of us have huge unruly manes, others prefer a more sleek and controlled nature. The latter has been Ariana Grande’s go to for what feels like years. Her high ponytail has been seen in a great many photos, with a huge variety of different adaptations. For example, this soft curl at the ends. It shows off her face, and makes us feel as though we could put our hair in a ponytail and rock the Grande look too!

Space buns, as defined by Glamour, are basically Leia-inspired side buns that have had a variety of iterations played on them over the years. All of us have rocked space buns at one point or another, especially if we spend any time looking at Pinterest hair 'how-tos'. Ariana Grande is a big fan of the buns, putting this kind of half-up-space-bun-style into both casual and high-quality outfits. With all that hair, it’s no surprise that she wants to rock a different style every now and then.
10 Normally We Love Her Casual Wear, But This One Is A Little Bit Too Grey
The space buns seem to have overtaken her in this one, judging from those rocketship-inspired sneakers and her all gray space suit outfit. While we appreciate Grande’s good outfit themes, this isn’t exactly what we were thinking when we talked about her love of space buns. It’s just not for us. The grey isn’t a satisfying grey. Yes, the upkeep can be tricky for pastel hair. However, we feel that it’s well worth the style benefits to try it at least once in our lives.

The bagginess totally covers her, making it hard to see anything but a big wash of fabric. Comfortable? Yes. Would it make us feel confident? Not quite, unfortunately.
