Hollywood doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to lasting romances, and the constant breakups and new relationships are what makes A-listers' love lives so fascinating --and the subject of much tabloid fodder.

Many celebrities seem to get particularly close to other people in the industry, whether it’s their co-star or director, which makes sense because this person can understand their demanding work schedules, the invasion of the paparazzi, and the team of stylists that are always on the sidelines.

But then, there are others who prefer to date guys who are what we would consider totally normal. Actually, some of these stars have even gone on to fall in love and marry men who have nothing to do with the entertainment industry.

Take Julianna Margulies as an example, who fell in love with a lawyer (which is especially interesting since she portrayed one onscreen for The Good Wife), and Jessica Chastain, who is married to a handsome Italian fashion executive. What this suggests is that there is hope for civilians who want to end up with a big star.

Below are 20 A-list actresses who married normal, non-celebrities--although, not all of their romances were the lasting kind.
