The Rock is on fire. If you follow him on social media you will see just how on fire he really is. He has back-to-back movies that keep coming out, he’s an ambassador for Under Armor and he is currently filming a Fast & Furious spinoff called Hobbs and Shaw. This powerhouse guy also has eight projects coming up in the future. Eight! They include a sequel to Suicide Squad, Jumanji and San Andreas. The guy is box office gold right now, which is why he is booking movies left and right.

He seems to create success with everything that he does and maybe that’s why people gravitate towards him. He also has inspirational posts on social media that just make you want to be his friend. He’s a busy guy but that doesn’t stop him from building lifelong friendships. There are people with whom he has built cool relationships over time but there are some friendships that have been severed, too.

It’s hard to believe that anyone could dislike Dwayne Johnson, but he has rubbed some people the wrong way.

Check out these 17 celebs who can’t get enough of The Rock (+ 3 who keep their distance).

20 Love: Kevin Hart Is His Best Friend

These two are always joking around on social media. We often see Kevin Hart’s head put on pictures of Dwayne Johnson’s baby, which is awkward for all of us. The two actors became friends because they've been in multiple movies together, most recently the remake of Jumanji. There is a significant height difference between the two but that doesn’t stop them from being friends.

"He's a positive guy that wants to see good for people,"

Hart tells The Hollywood Reporter. "When you find yourself with a person like that, that attitude becomes contagious, and together, you spread a lot of that positive energy."

19 Love: Justin Timberlake Is A Bro

These two go way back and they found themselves on the Jimmy Fallon Show in February where they had a major “bro” moment. They recorded a video that was too cute for words. There is a reason why people like The Rock so much and it has a lot to do with the fact that he just wants people to be happy. He thought the original ending for the Rampage movie was too sad so he fought to have it changed.

“I'm gonna take care of you, the audience. You pay your hard-earned money — I don't need to bring my dark stuff (sic) to you. Maybe a little — but if it's in there, we're gonna overcome it, and we're gonna overcome it together," Johnson said, as reported by Bustle.

18 Loves: He Is A Big Fan Of Emily Blunt

The two were in the movie Jungle Cruise together where they formed a strong bond. They were recently out for dinner together and Johnson couldn’t help but gush about Blunt on social media.

“And of course, the woman of the hour who unfortunately has to put up with my spoonful of sugar and cheese all night long, Mary Poppins herself - Emily Blunty Blunt," Johnson said, as People reports.

She clearly made a real good impression on him because he hasn’t stopped talking about her since they met.

17 Avoids: There Is No Love Lost Between Vin and Dwayne

These two got into a big fight once upon a time and they still haven’t made up. Apparently, things were so bad between them during the last installment of the Fast & Furious movie that they had to shoot their scenes separately. “That is correct,” Johnson told Rolling Stone, as Sunshine Coast Daily reports.

“We were not in any scenes together. Vin and I had a few discussions, including an important face-to-face in my trailer. And what I came to realize is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach moviemaking and collaborating.

It took me some time, but I'm grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not.”

16 Love: Dwayne And Jeffrey Dean Morgan Are Rampaging

There is a whole lot of love between these two guys and The Rock recently gave Jeffrey Dean Morgan a shout out on social media for his birthday. Morgan has also stated that working with Johnson was a dream. “It’s a dream come true, doing a movie like this, with Brad and DJ [Dwayne Johnson]," he said, as reported by Collider.

"When someone calls and says, 'Hey, would you be interested in doing a movie with Dwayne, and it’s got monsters in it?' that’s what you dream about, as a little kid, even though I’m way older than he is.”

Even celebs can be such a fan girls.

15 Love: John Krasinski Likes To Work Out With Dwayne

It’s no big surprise that these two are friends because John Krasinski is married to Emily Blunt. He was invited once to work out in Dwayne’s gym and he was blown away. As reported by USA Today, Krasinski told Ellen,

“It was like alien spaceships had landed. It's not a trailer, it's a full gym.

Emily [Blunt, Krasinski's wife] just did a movie with him and I said, 'Could I ever just work out at your place?'"

14 Love: Stan Lee The Legend

Recently, we saw Dwayne Johnson play tribute to Stan Lee on social media and it was pretty obvious that Lee made a big impact on his life.

“When I first broke into Hollywood, years ago he was so warm and welcoming to me – I’ll never forget it,"

he wrote on Instagram, as reported by Global News. "He gave me very sage advice on navigating a career, that I’ll always carry. What a life he’s lived and how awesome that his imagination and universe creation impacted generations around the world.”

13 Love: Being Handsome With Jason Statham

The fact that these two are ever in movies together is just handsome overload, and we will get to see them together again in Hobbs and Shaw.

“Yeah, I’m doing a big spin-off movie with Dwayne Johnson, the Rock, who I’m a particular big fan of and good friend of,”

Statham told EW. He added, “So I’m going to do a big Hollywood splash with a mate of mine. They are developing the script right now, so I can’t give you any spoilers on that one. Listen, Dwayne’s got a big appetite for action, and he’s got a great appetite for humor, and I’m sure it will be brimming with both of those things.”

12 Avoids: Tyrese Gibson Was Turned Off

Tyrese Gibson had problems with The Rock during the Fast & Furious filming. He even threatened to quit the franchise if something wasn’t done about Johnson. He stated that Johnson tried to make the movies all about him.

As E News states, Gibson posted this on his Instagram: "#PSA Congratulations to @TheRock and your brother-in-law, a.k.a. 7-bucks producing partner @hhgarcia41, for making the Fast and the Furious franchise about you. And like you, DJ, even if they call, I will not be deleting this post."

Yikes! Later, Johnson responded by saying he and Gibson hadn't spoken at all.

“That whole thing with Tyrese, it was pretty disappointing because I’ve been friends with Tyrese for a very long time,"

he said, as The Source reports. "And, you know, I always feel like a beef requires two people to actually jump in it, and it was really one-sided and he had voiced his opinion a lot on social media.”

11 Love: Funny Guy Rob Corddry Loves Him

Dwayne Johnson and Rob Corddry worked together on the HBO series Ballers for years and became great friends. They love to hang out and Corddry only has good things to say about him. When asked about his friendship with Johnson, Screen Rant reports Corddry as answering,

10 Love: Hugh Jackman Gets Workout Advice

If you are a guy and you want advice on how to add extra muscle to your body, who are you going to ask? The Rock, of course. Talking about it during an interview with E News, Hugh Jackman said he called Dwayne for some tips on bulking up.

He added, "Right as he's telling me the whole diet, someone knocked on his trailer door — and I'll never forget this moment. He goes, 'Hold on a second! I'm talking to Wolverine! You can tell them I said they can wait.'"

9 Love: Zac Efron Has All The Love

These two worked together on Baywatch and bonded immediately. Efron described Johnson as a "flower that never stops blooming," according to EW. When talking about his Baywatch co-star, Efron added, "It was fun to get in and really juke and jive with a guy who’s twice my size and has zero fear. Like, you can never fight this guy in real life... But it was great, he was fantastic."

8 Love: He Has A Small Fan In Eliana Sua

One child star that made it in Hobbs and Shaw was Eliana Sua. If you eat out with Johnson, you know you are going to eat well. He posted this photo on social media with the caption, “Filming our HOBBS & SHAW (Fast & Furious spin-off film) and it’s a pleasure to introduce the newest member of my Hobbs family to all of you. Eliana was super shy (and excited) about how I would announce her being cast in our movie.”

Awww!

7 Avoids: Shawn Michaels Has Big Beef With Him

Shawn Michaels is from Johnson’s WWE days! He worked a long time with the WWE and never had a fight with The Rock, which is really weird. The reason for that was because of a grudge that Johnson had with Michaels.

Sportskeeda reports that Michaels had made rude comments about The Rock's grandmother, and this left The Rock feeling very affected by the event. It led to major resentment towards Michaels.

6 Love: Lindsey Vonn Shows Some Love

Olympic alpine skier Lindsey Vonn had a guest appearance on the HBO series Ballers and found a new friend in Johnson. He took to social media with this photo and captioned it, “The admiration is mutual Linds! Congratulations on the Olympics and see you when you’re back.”

She was fond of the actor and told Vanity Fair, “[The Rock] said he’s going to help me after the season and I can follow him around a little bit and see if [acting's] really something that I would potentially be able to do.”

5 Love: Dany Garcia Has His Back

It’s not every day that you hear that a person is best friends and a business partner with their ex-wife. But that’s the case with Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia, and they always have each other’s backs. She told Marie Claire,

"We spent over a year looking at the things that didn't work in our marriage, the reasons why, making sure those elements had been cleared and taken care of and that we had a real understanding of respect."

It’s pretty remarkable that they work together after all these years! Dany is Dwayne's manager.

4 Love: Vanessa Kirby Gets Some Dating Introductions

Dwayne Johnson and Vanessa Kirby are working together on Hobbs and Shaw and don’t they make an impressive looking pair? Johnson posted the above photo to social media and listed her likes as if he was trying to get her hooked up with someone. He captioned the photo, “Meet “Hattie Shaw” played by my homegirl, @vanessa__kirby. Hattie loves the following/ Longs walks on the beach. Being a bad ass MI6 Operative. Drinking tequila with Hobbs. And not in that order. Hattie also happens to be the sister of Deckard Shaw, who’s played by @jasonstatham.”

Who better than Dwayne Johnson to introduce you to their followers?

3 Love: Arnold Schwarzenegger Was Welcoming

Arnold Schwarzenegger is pretty much the king of action movies so when Dwayne Johnson starting scoring some good roles, Arnold Schwarzenegger became like a mentor to him.

Johnson said that Schwarzenegger “was so supportive and welcoming to me when he didn’t have to be," Too Fab reports. He even agreed to have a cameo in the movie The Rundown and actually “flew himself to New Jersey” to take part in the film, Film School Rejects reports.

2 Love: Director Jon M Chu Is A Fan

Dwayne Johnson posted this photo in honour of his friend Jon M Chu, who he's worked with in the past. He captioned the photo with, “swipe left for my @CrazyRichAsians connection. Huge congratulations to my brotha from another, @jonmchu for directing such a brilliant and defining film, #CrazyRichAsians. It’s a seminal moment in Hollywood and Asian culture worldwide and couldn’t be more proud for Jon and the cast.”

One thing is for sure, Johnson always supports his friends and you can count on him to be loyal to them.

1 Love: His Oldest Daughter Simone

Usually, when your child becomes a teenager, they don’t want anything to do with you but that’s not the case with Johnson and his oldest daughter, Simone. She has gone to work with him multiple times as well as attended red carpet events with him. She is his daughter from a previous marriage and they are super close.

Although she's only 16 years old, she and Dwayne have discussed her going into wrestling. As reported by Entertainment Tonight, Dwayne said, “I love the idea of her doing it, only because the wrestling business these days is a lot different than [when] I was there.”

We love how supportive he is as a dad!
